Early Life, Education :
Early on, Naveed developed a passion for music from early childhood. He gravitated toward the songs of pop bands although his first inspiration was his mother Late Mrs Manpreet Akhtar a legendary Punjabi and Bollywood Singer. Naveed has a rich musical heritage in his family. His brother Lovey Akhtar is already a famous Music composer,arranger and director . His maternal uncle Late Dilshad Akhtar was also a well known singer in 90's. He has passed his Senior Secondary School from DPS Dalhousie, Later he completed graduation in computer engineering followed by MBA in HR.
He started his career as a character actor in Punjabi movie "Haani" in 2013. He entered in Punjabi music industry with his first song "Ehsaas"(2015) as a singer and the protagonist which went on to become a major hit, and was honoured as " Song of the year (2015) by SRS Cinema's Award . The song was highly acclaimed by critics as well as audiences, and remained on the top of various Punjabi music charts for several weeks. His second song "Warka" was too trending on You-tube for several weeks as well. He is all set to stir the industry with his upcoming ace singing and fabulous acting.
