Hugh Clevely (1898 - 1964) was a half English, half Irish author who wrote mystery thriller novels, mainly involving the darker underground of gangs and clans. Clevely sometimes wrote under the shared pseudonym of Tod Claymore which also belonged to his friend (and co-author) Edgar Jepson.
