United Nations Security Council Resolution 2094, which implemented harsher sanctions on North Korea after a nuclear test on February 12, was unanimously adopted on 7 March 2013.

Resolution 2094 targeted the finances of the regime and placed further sanctions on anything that could lead to the further development of nuclear weapons. It further condemned North Korea's nuclear program, and increased the power of other nations to enforce these sanctions. [1]
