About me

edit

Hello world. I am a librarian who lives near the Twin Cities in the state of Minnesota in the United States of America. I have been fascinated by Wikipedia for many years now, but am just now making the time to get my feet wet a bit. I hope to do a few edits here and there over the next month or so, and maybe even write an article. We'll see.

More about me: I am married with three children, and they are the loves of my life. I enjoy keeping up with the news, all things related to libraries, and studying theology, philosophy, and the sciences, particularly the life sciences. I am a typical librarian I think, in that I have many different interests and think it is very important to listen to many different points of view, if for no other reason than to "learn from the disagreement", as Christopher Hitchens and Douglas Wilson (let me point out I'm not a fan of the views of either man - but I am a fan of the way they discuss their views with each other) recently talked about.

In that sense, I would imagine that I have much in common with many a Wikipedian.
