Green Guestbook is a touchscreen, web-based visitor registration system that replaces a paper guestbook. It collects email addresses, compiles demographics and conducts customized surveys in real time from a specially designed kiosk at any business, public site or event. Users of the system can track thier visits on the internet and share them with social networking sites. It is privately owned by Green Guestbook Inc.

Green Guestbook was envisioned and created by Elizabeth (Ellie) Carlson of Chicago, Illinois. On the official Green Guestbook website she has stated the creation of this system was "by accident". The concept arised from a need for such a device and that "The main focus is to move away from paper correspondence towards more efficient digital communications."

In 2009, The Center for the Future of Museums voted Green Guestbook "Most Promising Material of the Future" at the American Association of Museums national convention.
