Charlie Wride is an American baseball historian. He is the current league historian for the Short-Season Class A New York-Penn League as well as the team historian for the Auburn Doubledays and Auburn Community Baseball.
Wride has held a variety of positions with the Auburn Doubledays and its predecessor New York-Penn League teams dating back to the 1950s, including board member, public address announcer, community relations, and umpire attendant.
For his long and dedicated service, Wride was inducted into the Auburn Community Baseball Wall of Fame in 2007.
