In ATiT, her tasks differ from writing for proposals, webdesign & development & maintenance, graphic design, DVD-production, training, video-editing, to communicating with project teams where ATiT is partner or project coordinating partner. She also assists with the coordination and logistical planning of international events such as workshops and conferences.
She is responsible for the Secretariat of the MEDEA Awards, the Media & Learning Conference and is part of the Editorial Team behind the monthly and multilingual publication Media & Learning News.
Her experience with wikis stems from project wikis during her studies and from her work on mediawiki's such as the Virtual Schools and Colleges wiki from the VISCED project which aims to make an inventory and to carry out a systematic review at international and national levels of innovative ICT-enhanced learning/teaching "Exemplar" initiatives and "e-mature" major secondary and post-secondary education providers for the 14-21 age group. On this wiki, Nikki works on country reports and resources with research results relevant to virtual schools and exemplars.
