Collective Eye, Inc. is a community of filmmakers that explores social, political, environmental and spiritual issues to bring provocative and entertaining stories to the screen. From documentaries that build bridges with marginalized cultures to explorations that shed light on our planet, Collective Eye uncovers new worlds and unique points of view. United by the belief that awareness inspires social change, filmmakers transcend problems to expose solutions through artistic endeavors that celebrate the diversity of life. Character-driven documentaries and edgy dramas reveal overlooked treasures of the world and inspire viewers to make a difference. Collective Eye supports visionary filmmakers whose work reflects sophistication, integrity, and high production value.

Collective Eye is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization founded by Taggart Siegel and Scott Ray Becker in San Francisco in 2004 to promote films and filmmakers that strive to make a positive difference in the world.

Collective Eye's first documentary was The Real Dirt on Farmer John which was released in 2005. The Real Dirt on Farmer John helped to spark a worldwide movement in the community supported agriculture movement. It features Farmer John Peterson and tells the story of his struggles with his family farm in Illinois to the present day Angelic Organics farm. Taggart Siegel directed the film and it was produced by Teri Lang.
