The Easton Ellises are a Creative Commons alternative music band from Montreal, Canada formed in November 2010. The band members are Alexandre Dionne on lead vocals, guitar, and sequencers; Simon Roy on back vocals, drums, and sequencers; Luc Dallaire on the bass; and Gérald Pau on lead guitar. In April 2012 they raised the funds necessary to release a first single called "Dance it, Dance all" on 12" vinyl via a successful fan funding campaign and which later found distribution in traditional music stores across Canada via Universal Music. They have played M for Montreal, MEG Montreal, Pop Montreal music festivals. Critical acclaim has been praised for their combinations of Electronic Dance Music and Rock[1].
