SILO - The SILO NATION SILO is a hard rock band based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. SILO was formed in early 2006, by Clay Watson, the current lead singer. After struggling to find like-minded musicians, Cash contacted an old friend, Mat Rapuano, about joining the project. From there, Rapuano, now the current percussionist, obtained Jordan Hogan (bass) Clayton Firmstone (lead guitar) and Mitch Webb (rythum guitar).

SILO's first release, a self-titled EP, quicly gained noteraity and was featured on local radio stations. The PORTAL Magazine featured SILO in their December 2010 issue. In 2010, after hearing about SILO's success, Dave Brooks, a Canadian music promoter, booked SILO to open for Econoline Crush for their reunion show at The Viper Room in Calgary, Alberta. SILO's live preformance at The Viper Room caught the attention of the organizers of the Boonstock Music Festival. Held in Gibons, Alberta, the Boonstock Music Festival has featured acts such as The Offspring, Matt Good, Papa Roach, Finger Eleven, Theory of a Dead Man, and more. SILO was approached by the Boonstock organizers to preform at the 2011 Boonstock Music Festival, whith a preformance date of July 1, 2011.

SILO's momentum continues as they were selected to play the first-annual Sturgis North Motorcycle Rally and Music Festival. SILO is scheduled to headline on Saturday July 16, 2011.

SILO's current release, "Paper Notes" is being played on 13+ Canadian radio stations such as Rock 106 FM Lethbridge, Rock 105.3 Medicine Hat, and Rock 105 Barrie, Ontario.
