Early years and education edit

Saad was born in Milan, Italy in 1950 as an only child to Holocaust survivor parents.[2] She studied art at the Liceo Artistico Dell'Accademia di Belle Arti Di Brera, Milan.[3] In 1969, after graduating from high school, she immigrated to Israel, where she met her husband Yehuda (Richard), a native of Tunis and a member of Moshav Ramot Meir.[2] She worked as a farmer until 1989, when she decided to devote her time to art and to an art instructors course in the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.[3] In 1992 she won the Minister of Education prize for creators in Jewish Culture.
