User:Mr. Schnellerklärt/Rebellion is justified

"Rebellion is justified" (chinese: 造反有理. or Zaofan you li.) is a winged speaking of the Communist leader, Chairman Mao Zedong. With this words Mao invoked the Red Guards to resistance against the chinese party establishment of his Communist Party of China.

In 1964 49 students of the Qinghua-grammar school founded the first Red Guards and wanted to submit the school administration some ideas for the reformation of the school. The group wrote a letter to Mao Zedong personally, in that it stated its ideas. Mao replied them, that the rebillion of the Red Guards in the school would be right and revolutionary. He support them.

Today the speaking is used by the Marxist–Leninist Party of Germany and its youth wing REBELL.[1]
