The purpose of this project is to improve the state demographics sections by incorporating the following:
- Add tables of the historical census population totals...completed 21:13, September 3, 2005 (UTC).
- Add demographics tables showing 1990 vs. 2000 race.
- Add U.S. Census Bureau references.
- Source: Historical Census Statistics on Population Totals By Race, 1790 to 1990, and By Hispanic Origin, 1970 to 1990
