Middle Earth Dub Festival took place on 3rd October 2015 for the first time in Leicester, UK. More precisely in Thurmaston, a village connected to Leicester. The festival was created by H Henry assisted by M Crouch with the purpose of promoting 12V sound systems, dub music and Leicester as a centre for new trends inside music and art. The festival showcases what 12V sound systems are capable of, what it takes to built a system, and especially how approachable it is to anyone interested in building their own sound system - tiny but with very good sound quality. For anyone familiar with the dub scene, they would have heard about Aba Shanti I, Jah Shaka, Jah Tubby and many more, and these mini systems are built from the same idea, but to a smaller scale, an able to run on 12V, and of course anywhere you could imagine yourself wanting to play.
