Grammar corrections: 13 vs. thirteen, when to capitalize grandmothers

When opening reference 8 "The Spirituality of Mother Earth with Grandmother Mona Polacca," the site takes you to Marquette University where the file can not be found. This makes you wonder whether or not the rest of information written is reliable. Sources need to be reviewed and updated accordingly. If said source was for some reason removed due to faulty information, then anything written in regards to that source should be removed, as to not hurt the rest of the page's credibility and to ensure those reading are not misinformed. I do enjoy how they have built a story of reputable facts of Mona's life meaning. They tend to focus on her early history and current endeavors. I think we can add to this by asking when she comes to class what she plans to accomplish in the future and how she intends to use her PhD. in interdisciplinary studies to do so.

Evaluation of 13 Grandmothers page

  1. All sources came from reputable articles, movies or websites. The only issue I had was with citation number 11, Capriccioso, R, "Indigenous grandmas nearly kicked out of Vatican", Indian Country Today, July 17, 2008 (Updated: Apr 24, 2009). The Indian country today is not the most neutral of newspapers to be cited on this page.
  2. I visited citations 1,6 and 9. All seemed to work well and went to the websites. None of them were close to plagiarizing the source all were well phrased.
  3. I not sure if citations 12 and 13 should count because they are just referencing a website for a e book. Not even from the book.
