During this period, Skeese worked a retail job in addition to his music career, and moved to Syracuse in 2015 to pursue advancement in that line of work. However, he returned to Buffalo in 2017 as the city's music scene began to grow stronger.[1][2] In 2020, Skeese was approached by Conway the Machine about joining Drumwork Music Group. The label officially signed Skeese in February 2021, making him its first signee.[1][3]

In addition to his music, Skeese is a visual artist, who produces a brand of denim jackets known as B.N.B.L.Y.C. ("Brown, Not Black, Live Your Creed") as well as painting.[1][2]
