Hi! My name is Martin Gibbs. I am a medical doctor specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. I have broad interests, and I am a voracious consumer of audiobooks, particularly books on social science, science fiction, and memoirs of comedians. I completed my residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I attended medical school at the Medical School for International Health of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
I began this account as a student at New College of Florida, while working on an anthropology thesis regarding the "Fiesta de los Diablitos" of the Boruca Indians in Costa Rica. I started this account in order to create and add to articles related to the Boruca.
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, but I now live in my adopted hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
