User:Mlaffs/Missing U.S. radio station articles

The following is a complete-ish list of U.S. radio station call signs where a possibility for article development exists, either because no article exists at all or because the call sign is currently a redirect (although not all redirects necessarily need their own article).

Redlinks by state edit

Reflects only those stations for which neither an article nor a redirect exists (in other words, redlinks). Call signs are italicized where some cursory research suggests a lack of sourcing may make it challenging to create an article. As of dates indicate either the date of licensing for the newest station added or the date that state was last updated (due to a call sign change, a license termination, or to remove/reclassify redlinks that have turned blue).

All stations included in this section are also included in Redlinks alphabetically below.

Redlinks alphabetically edit

Reflects only those stations for which neither an article nor a redirect exists (in other words, redlinks). Call signs that are formatted in bold italics indicate that the creation of an article about that station would allow for the deletion of a disambiguation page.

Redirects alphabetically edit

Call signs that are formatted in bold italics indicate that the creation of an article about that station would allow for the deletion of a disambiguation page. Call signs marked with a "#" indicate that they have had more than one licensee, meaning there may be enough transactional or programming history to warrant expanding to a stand-alone article. Call signs marked with a "†" indicate that they have only ever been licensed to the current licensee (usually religious broadcasters or stations owned by colleges/universities) – they are less likely to warrant a stand-alone article, although it's not without question.

Call sign changes/swaps needing fixing edit

In a number of instances, changes to radio station call signs (particularly in the case of call sign swaps) have been implemented by changing the frequency, city of license, and other information in the articles rather than by moving the article to the new call sign. These need to be corrected so that the article history remains correct.
