Total noob/greenhorn here, but I do have a handy-dandy degree in English and a fervent interest in technology and hope to make the best of this and more or less figure out what I'm doing. I would also like to clarify my own ideas on video games, especially video games as literature (albeit most games do not constitute good literature, but there do seem to be a growing number that may qualify for such). I also hope that the writing and editing practice available through working on articles will help me clean up my style and conciseness.

It should be noted, if it is not noticeable from my username that I may be construed as what is often called a Japanophile or sometimes weeaboo. As such I do have a bias towards Japanese games. Nevertheless, I have recently been investigating more American/Western Games as I got a deal on a refurbished 360. I hope to devise, if such does not already exist, a page delineating the differences in Japanese and American/Western RPGs. This page may not receive frequent updates as between my job and additional schooling I do not have nearly as much free time as I may wish, nevertheless I feel I should be able to have some minor effect on the community and at least get the ball rolling in a few areas. Hopefully it will be less than a year until I next remember to update this page... but no promises.
