Re: Shepard Smith edit

Not a problem. See WP:CITET for templates of cites. That's not all there are, but those (I feel) are the best. Good stuff! :) -- Huntster T@C 09:36, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

No harm done at all. Just a minor fix to remove an unneccessary wikilink, and everything is as it should be! -- Huntster T@C 15:10, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have asked an admin to look at the page and render an opinion on the "payoff" vs. "settlement" question. FYI, you've violated the 3 revert rule. Wahkeenah 00:19, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thanks for bringing this to my attention. While I'm not an admin, I must say that a quote is a quote for a reason, and to change the wording renders it not a quote, and at worst places the quotation in questionable legal status (aka, misrepresenting the newspaper). I'll delve into this and see what I can work out. -- Huntster T • @ • C 00:36, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

And I say that citing a quote that pushes a point of view, is a violation of the rule against pushing a point of view. Citing someone else's opinion (as opposed to actual facts) is a way of actually pushing your own opinion, and it's against the rules. Knowing the specific admin I contacted, I expect we'll hear back within 24 hours or so. Wahkeenah 00:50, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

See, I'm just talented like that ;) However, even if you find a video, we cannot link to it, because doing so would violate copyright laws. Citing sources is definitely a finicky thing... -- Huntster T • @ • C 01:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
