Virus Share is a virus sharing website created by J-Michael Roberts. It distributes virus packages in zip file format. The downloads are distributed for use by security researchers, incident responders, forensic analysts, and the morbidly curious. Access to the site is private and requires an invitation to gain access to the downloads section of the website. The site is also closed source for security reasons and only allows the administrator to edit the code. The site is currently run from a cobbled infrastructure and suffers from efficiency problems but suffers little to no downtime.
