Father Michael Manning

is a Roman Catholic priest whose ministry is television. Presently he is seen nationally on the Trinity Broadcasting Network Wednesday mornings at 11:30AM ET. In 1978 he began his nationally syndicated weekly program. His program appeared regularly on the American Forces Network.

He is seen on Catholic diocesan cable networks in Boston, Detroit, Debuque, Fresno and Youngstown. He is also seen nationally and internationally on Trinity Broadcasting network and its co-owned The Church Channel.

His goal is to present Catholic perspectives on life's issues, mend bridges between denominations and religions, champion the causes of the poor and disenfranchised, interview people whose faith and life offer strong inspiration and study insights into the Bible.

He has appeared as a guest on Larry King Live,Jay Leno's Tonight Show, Nancy Grace, Leeza, The Montel Williams Show, The 700 Club, The Phil Donahue Show, Hard Copy, Helpline, Real People, and Today's Religion. He was a regular guest on the popular radio program Religion on the Line on KABC in Los Angeles.

He appeared with Robert DeNiro in the film Guilty by Suspicion.

For seven years he wrote a weekly column for the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. Father has written several books and booklets, including Pardon My Lenten Smile!, Proclaimed from the Rooftops, Life Full of Surprises, On Camera and Off, Questions and Answers for Today's Catholics and How Do I Forgive Myself?. His next book, soon to be published, is 15 Faces of God.

He has degrees in Philosophy and Theology plus an MFA in play writing. As the President of Wordnet Productions, he serves the Society of the Divine Word. He was the pastor of St. Anthony Parish in San Bernardino, California.

He appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 10th, 2008 as part of a segment called "A Priest, A Rabbi, and A Minister Tell Jokes".
