I am a member of the St. Louis, Missouri, chapter of the Citizens for Global Solutions which is one of the modern incarnations of the World Federalist historical social movement to promote world peace through world government. The national organization has several parts internally and several affiliations externally. The national website is Globalsolutions.org. The national has some limited paid administrative staff but an all-volunteer Board and Committees. The national has a long and contentious history that left behind bad feelings among some of the historical participants. I joined the national organization and the St. Louis chapter this year. I volunteered to help the national reincarnate the WP article, Citizens for Global Solutions. The people with the background and experience in this area are committed to the idea but elderly. There is a danger that knowledge about this well-intentioned area of human endeavor may be lost. I, myself, have no technical experience with WP and I will be relying on the current membership of the national to provide the content and references for the article. I have read a lot of guidelines and warnings but I have not found the sort of step-by-step orientation to the actual behaviors that are required to revise an existing article. I will try Chatting if I can find it.

Our wiki entry for Citizens for Global Solutions was what I would characterize as wholesale constructively critisized by Giantsnowman on 15 October 2013. By that time I think all of our paid staff had been let go and there was widespread bitterness among the various 'political factions' within the group who remained and those who departed. So nobody took an interest in responding to the wholesale constructive criticism of the article. I feel that this wholesale deletion was inconvenient and I would like to redo and enhance the article based on references and citations provided by the current membership. Because of our COI, we will compose and submit a draft as the community has very kindly suggested as the correct approach.
