Who I Am edit

After graduating high school I went to the Naval Academy In Annapolis, Maryland for a year. Then I transferred to the R.O.T.C program at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. My transition from Navy to Army was due to the discoverey of my passion for medicine. I discovered this passion when a close relative of mine was injured in Iraq. I realized then that I wanted to be the person who took care of injured soldiers, and not just a regular officer. I found that being a nurse would allow me the most expedited way of doing this. After completeing my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, I plan on going to medical school to become an M.D.

I try to serve my surrounding communities in any way possible, and currently fulfill this objective by devoting time to the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences. At this location my most recent specialty has become document shredding. I have since devoted over 20 hours to this art, and successfully learned how to correctly guess the number of pages in any random stack of documents. I know this attribute is not considered vital to the workplace, but through enhancing this ability I was able to find some enjoyment in an otherwise mind numbingly dull repetition.

Since attending Georgia Southern, I have found that my life can be broken down into three categories. The first major component is school, which is soon followed by exercise, and then comes the ever elusive “free time." For this school year I have been awarded the H.O.P.E scholarship, Pell Grant, Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship, and the Academic Competitiveness scholarship. I have been inducted into the honors society, made dean's list, taken no less than 18 credit hours per semester, been an active participant in the Georgia Southern Eagle Battalion, and accumulated over 30 community service hours per semester.

My Regards Towards Technology edit

I love everything to do with technology, and I am confident that I am capable of working with any aspect of it. I currently operate my own independent blog from a computer that I pieced together in my free time. I maintain an operating license for amateur radio from the ARRL, and feel that I can easily learn to use any operating system in just a short while. I have also taken a few courses in Python, Linux, Microsoft Office, and Open Office.

The world and Wikipedia edit

I feel that Wikipedia is a strong asset for the world. My sentiments are based on the belief that the sole purpose of Wikipedia is to inform anyone about anything anywhere in the world. This opinion is grounded in my own personal experiences as a student. Thanks to the creation of Wikipedia I have been able to successfully find obscure references, background information, and even copyright free images concerning any topic I have ever researched. I have nothing but good things to say about Wikipedia, and am honored to have been able to contribute to it.

Tongues edit

As is blatantly obvious, I am capable of conveying my ideas in English. But would you also guess that I can speak Spanish? My Spanish may not always be grammatically correct, but appears to be sufficient for conversation amongst family, friends, and merchants.

More me stuff edit

In my free time I enjoy fixing broken things, and ,through trial and error, have found that my mechanical abilities have no bounds. I consider myself a jack of all trades, and a master of none. I also enjoy watching movies, studying debates, driving a manual car, and sleeping. I am also somewhat of a political junkie, and believe that no news agency tells the truth. I find it funny that despite the prestige a news agency should have, both Fox news and CNN seem to bicker back and forth like school children in a popularity contest.
