Early Life ...

Hailing from the suburban streets of Long Island, New York comes a 23 year old Italian-American rapper professionally known as FiO Baby. With his use of deep, dark, fun, witty, and love hungry emotional rhymes FiO has been able to capture the ears of many.

Institute of Audio Research and Adelphi University...

FiO first created a buzz for himself at Adelphi University in which he both attended class and graduated with a B.B.A. FiO made his professional debut on November 21st where he was awarded $500.00 for winning a show hosted by C.A.L.I.B.E.R. This buzz rapidly grew gaining the attention of many local hip hop junkies. It was here at Adelphi that he was nominated "Best College Rapper" by The Campus Socialite.

After graduation FiO decided to attend The Institute of Audio Research where he graduated both the "Audio Recording Production" and "Media Post Production" Programs. He has been mixing music for about a year now and more recently doing Post Production for his Interactive Media Company, Za Za.

Trunkface/ Radio/ TV ...

In just one year FiO was picked up by a New York City based entertainment company, dropped his first official mixtape titled "Lost in Time", appeared twice on "The HOLLA@URBOY" radio show hosted by DJ Blendz and Sacia B, filmed a full season of the soon to come Grammy nominated "Hip Hop 16 Bars" reality show where he worked with Grammy Nominated Producer Bangout (Candy Shop), as well as making Long Islands most poplar newspaper "Newsday".

It was here at 16 Bars (filmed in New York City) that he evolved from a novice artist to a professional musician. In July of 2010, he shared the stage with the other finalists of the competition. Being one of the finalists he moved on to meet some of the music industry's heavy weights such as Bert Padell, Key Shock Lee, and Doug E. Fresh who helped him among other Hip Hop 16 Bars contestants find their way to KMA Music.

It was at KMA Studios (50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Cash Money, Beyoncee Knowles, Justin Bieber, Brittney Spears, etc.) where all winning contestants cut a complete album which has just been mixed and mastered in England. He will soon be shooting a music video and going on tour with the other Hip Hop 16 Bars finalists.

"Mixtape Success"... Being compared so early in his career to rappers such as Mac Miller, Sammy Adams, and Chris Webby he has held his weight firmly with the outstanding numbers his freshman mixtape "Lost in Time" brought in when released on Datpiff.com. It was shortly after this that a DJ posted up a compilation mixtape on Datpiff entitled "White Out Volume 1" featuring some of his finest work along side Millers, Adams, and Webby's.

As Whiteout Volume 1 grew in popularity so did FiO Baby. The success of this mixtape allowed FiO Baby the chance to open up for Chris Webby at "Hofstras Homecomming" in Wantagh, New York where he seemed to control the vast majority of the crowd.

"Other Business Ventures"... In The summer of 2011 FiO Baby partnered up with three other enthusiasts to create Za Za Interactive Media, LLC. There main focus is their newly founded general interest blog Check ZaZa
