Christopher Zöchling (born February 26 1988, Leoben)[1] is an Austrian racing driver.

Karting

Because he grew up in Africa and Turkey, Christopher only began racing at the late age of 14, when he participated in the 2002 German and Austrian National Karting Championships. In the following year, he was runner-up in the German championship. Following a move to the United Arab Emirates, Zöchling competed in the UAE Rotax Max Championship, where he sealed his title after just 6 of the 10 races.[2]

Formula Renault

Back in Europe, Christopher participated in the 2005 Formula Renault 2.0 Germany, driving for the RST Auinger team. He finished 15th in the championship with a single podium to his name.[3] In the following year, he competed in four races of the 2006 Asian Formula Renault Challenge, still earning him enough points to finish 13th in the championship. [4]
