Metalshub GmbH is a German digital supply chain solution and price intelligence platform for the metals industry, which operates globally and focuses on e-commerce, and artificial intelligence. It is one of the 10 most successful start-ups in Dusseldorf[1] and the winner of the Pioneer Startup Award 2021[2]. The company had been referred as “a leading digital spot metals procurement platform that already lists an array of ferroalloys as well as various non-ferrous and minor metal products on its marketplace”[3].
Dr Sebastian Kreft and Dr Frank Jackel founded Metalshub in December 2016 in the office of the Notary Dr. Theme in Dusseldorf. The vision was to use technology so that everyone can trade with one another in a safe way and make the ferroalloy and specialty metals market more efficient and environmentally friendly.
