Types of Wikipedia Vandals edit

You know who I'm talking about. Those people who make an account (or don't, they forget that we can see IPs) just to add some stupid crap to an amazing page. If you've ever wrote literally anything on Wikipedia, you've seen one of these pests inhabit your article. I'll be going over the most common AND the most annoying.

The "Just Slap My Vandalism Right At The Beginning" Vandal edit

If you're gonna be a vandal, at the very least make it creative. Please.

I feel like there's always that one guy that just adds some really weird or just straight-up horrific sentence right at the top of an article because they either don't know how Wikipedia works or they just gave up on trying to hide their vandalism.

Things like "get a life losers" (see image at right for reference into this matter) are very common in this form and tend to come from people who aren't even logged in. Thanks a lot.

Some of the funniest ones to me are the biographical name vandals, because they'll add like one word to someone's name at the top, and yes, while it is 100% noticeable, it's also 100% funnier than whatever the heck happened on the image at right.

Page-blanking is only for only the most distinguished of tomfoolery here at Wikipedia.

The "Lemme just blank the page real quick" Vandal edit

These guys are just the worst. You write an amazing 30,000+ character article on The Crusades, and you click "Publish page.." and you wait for your amazing work to load, and boom... ...some random person blanked it. Yes, while clicking "revert" may help to an extent, honestly these guys just have no creativity. At least put some effort in if you're gonna ruin my page on vandalism.

These guys tend to target Donald Trump for some reason, it's not like erasing his stuff is gonna erase what he did affect him in literally any way, I mean I'd be genuinely surprised if the great DJT checked his Wikipedia page ("This page is all a lie, it's always been, this citation is fake, where's Joe in this blah blah blahhhh"

The Actually Creative Horrific Vandal edit

Okay, I'll admit this is actually kinda funny (besides the racial part, that's not funny)

These people know how to do it. You log on, and literally just butcher a page so badly that someone screenshots it and puts it on an essay on what not to do on Wikipedia. These people usually will tweak the infobox (I'm not linking what an infobox is, use your brains) or the shortdesc to say something absolutely horrific, putrid, vile, literally something the devil would pass on as "too violent". These people are the people who can manage to turn an article about Lotus berthelotii into an article about Adolf Hitler's 50th birthday. These people also don't know when to stop, it's like they get a mini dopamine rush whenever they ruin someone's article that has been extensively edited to absolute perfection and then decide to edit every single part of it separately just to rub in how annoying they are.
