Melanie Jonina Ching is a social scientist, Canadianist and blogger[1] 3 who lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She grew up on a small farm near Darlingford, Manitoba, Canada.
She studied at Carleton University[2] in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada between September 1999 and April 2005. She worked as a teaching assistant for the School of Canadian Studies while doing her Master's degree. She became an indeterminate employee with the Public Service of Canada on 01 September 2006. She worked at Canadian Heritage[3] and Citizenship and Immigration Canada[4]. She was a policy analyst specializing in multiculturalism and resigned on 11 January 2013.
