Biography

edit

Parky the Penguin enjoys an exciting life in Antarctica. He was hatched from an egg in early summer of 2001, on a rather stormy day. He was kept safe by the penguin family cuddling circle, and quickly grew. His parents split the work of watching over him and hunting, until he was old enough to hunt himself. Then hunting became a family event!

He met his wife Pip during the spring mating season. She accepted his proposal of the pretty rock he could find, and by the next spring they had their first birdling together! The other three birdlings quickly followed. Soon they will be looking for mates of their own, and Parky and Pip will have an empty nest. They probably won't retire from hunting and eating just yet because they enjoy living and would like to see their grand-birdlings.
