Monsters in the Ultraman Mebius.

Dinozaur

edit

Dinozaur is a fictional creature. It was the first monster Ultraman Mebius ever fought. Dinozaur is capable of flight, has a thin whip-like tongue, and could shoot organic missiles. If Dinozaur's head is cut or blased off, it is capable of getting two heads and is called Reverse Dinozaur.

Stats

edit
  • Height: 77 meters
  • Weight: 50,000 tons
  • Powers/Attacks: Whip-like tail, organic missiles, space travel, flight, and reverse regeneration.

In the entire series of Ultraman Mebius, three Dinozaurs (excluding the group that appeared in episode 11) made appearances. The first Dinozaur killed all but one members of GUYS. The second Dinozaur was coming toward Earth, only to be destroyed by Tsurugi (aka. Ultraman Hikari). The third Dinozaur was killed by GUYS, but regenerated into Reverse Dinozaur, but was defeated by Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Hikari.

Gudon

edit

Awakening from underground, Gudon began to rampage underground leaving giant fissues in the Earth. Later that day, Gudon emerged near a construction site, where it was quick to rampage. GUYS tried attacking the monster with their ships, but soon learned they could not get close without risking getting hit by its whip-like arms. After a back and forth battle between Gudon and GUYS's ships, Mirai transformed into Ultraman Mebius and the two giants engaged in a long battle. Mebius then pulled out his Mebium Blade, and with it he sliced into Gudon, destroying him once and for all.

Later on, another Gudon appeared and was seen fighting another Twin Tail, with no one knowing how or why they were alive and fighting. Their fight was halted by Bogal, who beat both monsters into submission until eating them.

Sometime later, GUYS was chosen to test out new arrivals of Capsule Monsters. The first suggestion was Gudon, but he was turned down due to the dangerous possibility that its timer would end underground. Once everyone chose monsters to test, Gudon was used to battle a Zetton. The capsule Zetton easily defeated Gudon, causing him to return to his capsule in defeat.

Birdon

edit

As GUYS was investigating a normally inactive volcano, Birdon emerged from the ground, beckoning its return. Birdon soon met Ultraman Mebius and used its immense power to beat down Mebius and then injected the Ultra with a strong poison with his beak. Weakened and poisoned, Mebius was forced back into his human form as Birdon took off into the sky. Birdon was later spotted flying over the sea and GUYS tried to intercept it. Birdon was downed on the mainland as GUYS continued attacking, but this only angered Birdon into using its flames. Ultraman Mebius returned to save GUYS from the fire, but he was still weak as the poison had not completely wore off. Teaming up with GUYS, Mebius was able to overcome Birdon's strength and Birdon was finally destroyed by both Mebius's Mebium Beam and a barrier built by GUYS to contain the poison.

Sometime later, GUYS was chosen to test out new arrivals of Capsule Monsters. One suggestion was Birdon, but was turned down due to his poison sacks being an environmental threat.

In this series Birdon is given en extra superpower, the dangling sacks underneath his beak that are connected to his snood is filled with poison. It can be injected into an opponent by Birdon peaking at them. It is sometimes believed that this Birdon is possibly the same one that appeared in Ultraman Taro.

Cherubim

edit

Sent by Bogal, Kelbeam landed in Tokyo and attacked relentlessly. Wishing to see their new Maquette Monster in action, Miclas was sent by GUYS to fight the alien monster. However, Miclas was too scared to fight and Kelbeam beat him up and the down the city until Miclas returned to its capsule. Kelbeam left shortly after and fled into the sea to lay an egg. After Kelbeam returned, GUYS sent Miclas again to fight Kelbeam. This time Miclas gains enough courage to fight back against Kelbeam, but in the end it was Ultraman Mebius who destroyed Kelbeam, slicing the monster in half.

Later on in the series, the egg that the first Kelbeam laid in the sea hatches to create a new Kelbeam. After listening to radio waves originally created by GUYS HQ to control Maquette Monsters, Kelbeam surfaced attacking Ultraman Mebius and taking control of another monster who was attacking the test site: Earthtron. The two overpowered Mebius easily, all the while Kelbeam "boasting" to Earthtron about his strength and "directing" Earthtron how to fight. Once GUYS learned that Kelbeam was controlling the waves from the test device to control Earthtron. GUYS had no choice to destroy it, causing Earthtron to forget what it was doing now no longer under the control of Kelbeam. Frustrated without his control over the monster, Kelbeam attacked Earthtron and the two monsters fought. In the end, Ultraman Mebius destroys them both with the Medium Blade.

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness

This Monster reappeared in the short sequel to Ultraman Mebius.

Some time after Ultraman Mebius left Earth, several monsters began reappearing and causing havoc. Kelbeam was one of these monsters, (along with Saramandora, Roberuga, and Mukadender.) Miclas was sent to deal with Kelbeam. It is unknown what the outcome was as it is never seen in the special, but it is assumed Kelbeam was destroyed by Miclas.

Miclas

edit

In this series, Miclas is created as a "Maquette Monster," a new generation term for the Capsule Monsters. However, Miclas was incredibly clumsy, which prevented him from doing anything that seemed threatening, especially when the outer space threat known as Kelbeam attacked Japan. However after some movitational words were spoken to him by his master, Konomi of Team GUYS, Miclas gained enough courage to toughen up and fight back against Kelbeam, but ultimately it was Ultraman Mebius that destroyed Kelbeam in the end. Since then, Miclas was classified by both GUYS and METEOR (GUYS's superior) as a failure for its weakness and thus Windam was created as a replacement, but Miclas would be used again by GUYS whenever there was a monster attack and if neither GUYS nor Mebius were their to help. Miclas would go on to battle other monsters such as: Bogal, Mukadender, Zetton, Nova, and Angross.

During the battles against Bogal, Miclas was upgraded into "Eleka-Miclas." By combining the data of Eleking, Eledortoise, and Neronga, Eleka-Miclas was given both the ability to generate Electricity through touch and projection through his horns as well as the ability to turn invisible at well. The name however was not used as much, merely as an upgrade until Windam was finished.

Sadora

edit

In this series, there multiple Sadoras that appear at a time. Feeding on whomever entered their territory, the Sadoras hid near a forest, concealing themselves in fog and using their extendable arms to snatch their prey. As Team GUYS arrived to battle one Sadora, it ultimately fled the scene upon discovering Bogal was in the area (ultimately, it was eaten by Bogal.) Later that evening another Sadora appeared in Tokyo, (this time called forth by Bogal) where it fed on the populance in the city. As Team GUYS were dispatched to subdue it, Mirai transformed into Ultraman Mebius and fought the monster himself. After a long battle the Sadora was destroyed. However, two more Sadoras appeared in the area and double-teamed Mebius. At that moment, the two Sadoras were destroyed by a human-like figure known as "Tsurugi" (whom would later be revealed to be Ultraman Hikari.)

Sadoras would continue to appear, but only as victims to Bogal's hunger. They stopped appearing once Bogal was destroyed.

Twin Tail

edit

Released into the sea by Bogal as an orb, GUYS eventually found the orb in the sea. Once they dove into the sea to find it, Bogal cracked open the orb and from it released Twin Tail. Mirai quickly turned into Ultraman Mebius, but Twin Tail was too agile in the water, and was winning. But GUYS soon discovered Twin Tail's weakness: The two, glowing blue spots on its body. They attacked it, which greaty injured the monster, giving Mebius the instant he needed to destroy Twin Tail with his Mebium Beam.

Later on, another Twin Tail appeared and was seen fighting another Gudon, with no one knowing how or why they were alive and fighting. Their fight was halted by Bogal, who beat both monsters into submission until eating them.

Sometime later, GUYS was chosen to test out new arrivals of Capsule Monsters. One suggestion was Twin Tail, but was turned down due to his limited capabilities on land.

Bogal

edit

Bogal was a fairly powerful monster that attacked Planet Arb. Tsurgi, a scientist who looked like an Ultraman went to the Ultraman king to become a hero, because the arb's soil told him that they would be destroyed. Tsurgi comes back, to find that Bogal was already attacking. The blue scientist was ruled by anger and couldn't do anything. Bogal escapes and leaves Planet Arb, destroyed. Tsurgi slams the ground in anger. Suddenly, the remaining souls of Arb fly inside Tsurgi, generating armour known as the Armour of Vengeance. At the moment, he knew that it was up to him to destroy Bogal.

Bogal appears in many Ultraman Mebius episodes, including episode 10. In this episode Tsurgi and Mebius team up to defeat Bogal in a powerful force field (which will stop the explosion). Tsurgi uses his sword to hack into Bogal, and is wounded in the explosion, luckily Mebius grabs him and escapes.

Some more Bogals turn out to be still alive in episode 21, where the GUYS crew find the remains of a ship. Inside they find a Bogal. GUYS kills one of the Bogals, but the other one eats the dead one and becomes Giant. Mebius appears to defeat it. Bogal reappears again in episode 22.

Alien Fanton (Fanton seijin)

edit

Alien Fanton was a peaceful alien whose homeworld was gripped by a famine. In order to combat this lack of food, The Fantons created an artificial food supply named "Shippin 929". Shippin 929 fell to earth in a specially sealed container, so Fanton seijin came down to earth and begged the members of crew guys to find it.However, it was taken out of its vessel, and expanded until it could be returned to outside earth's atmosphere. Fanton appears in episodes 7, 49, and 50.

Rimu Eleking

edit

Created by the particle accelerator that created maquette monsters malfunctioning beneath the base of GUYS Rimu Eleking was an off shoot mutation of nanomachines with data on the original Eleking from Ultraseven's time based on trauma the original Miclas experienced. Rimu Eleking's first appearance made most of the members of GUYS nervous except Konomi. The miniature monster reappeared later that day as GUYS was eating lunch Rimu Eleking was absorbing electricity from an electrical socket. George tried to pull it out only to get severely stunned. After the destruction of Bogarmons it was decided that Rimu Eleking would be GUYS' mascot and has popped up in different places throughout the rest of Ultraman Mebius's time.

Windam

edit

After Bogal was destroyed, a second Maquette Monster was created for GUYS after Miclas's "failure." Just like Miclas, he was based on another Capsule Monster from Ultra Seven's time, Windam. Windam was first used to attack Dinozaur Reverse and while he did not win the fight, he took orders without hesitation or problems. Therefore, more work was put into making Windam more stronger and more capable of a fighter, including the use of mind control on the robot, but that plan was sabotaged when Earthtron and Kelbeam attacked the control site.

Eventually after the series of experiments, Fire Windam was created. With a flamethrower-type appendage attached to his left hand, Windam was enhanced with fire attacks based on Zetton (from Ultraman,) Pandon (from Ultra Seven,) and Black End (from Ultraman Leo.) From that point on just like Miclas, Windam would be used again by GUYS whenever there was a monster attack and if neither GUYS nor Mebius were their to help. Windam would go on to battle other monsters such as: Insectus, Yapool, Zetton, Roberger, and Glozam.

Ebisu sama The Other

edit

Originally a small statue on display at an old man's shop, Ebisu sama was exposed to Grotecell, that could bring life to objects, from a capsule that Assistant Director Toriyama had been entrusted with. Unfortunately, he dropped it over a river by accident. When he found it in the old man's shop, he dropped it again, and the gas brought Ebisu sama to life, in a kodaigon-like form. GUYS aircraft attacked it, but all their weapons bounced off his hide. He used his fishing hook to grab a hold of one of their aircraft, but it was shot off by another. While everyone was distracted by the fight, Mirai slipped out of sight, and transformed into Ultraman Mebius. Kodaigon has far too strong however. Mebius managed to steal his fishing pole and hit him with it, but it snapped, which only made Kodaigon mad. The fiend proceeded to beat Mebius to the ground. Seemingly beat, Ultraman Hikari appeared out of nowhere to aid Mebius. but even two Ultras weren't enough, as Kodaigon sicked his fish on them, as well as continuing to beat the Ultramen with his mighty fists. Kodaigon, along with his fish, were seemingly unstoppable, until GUYS informed Mebius and Hikari that if they managed to crack a hole in him, the gas would leak out, and he'd return to normal. Both Ultras used their special beam attacks to blow a hole in Kodaigon's leg, and, with one last pose, the oddity returned to his former self; a small, harmless statue.

Mukadender

edit

In this series, Mukadender was hiding in a Woods and preying on humans in secrecy. As Marina of GUYS was on an outing with her friend as well as a woman they found in the forest, Mukadender revealed itself and chased them around the woods. Marina used Miclas to combat Mukadendar, but his sheepish nature towards Marina only did little to help. Although striking Mukadender with one blast of electric energy, Miclas's timer went up, and Mukadendar became enraged and attacked the Trio without hesitation. GUYS soon arrived, with Mirai quickly turning into Ultraman Mebius. Mebius had little trouble fighting Mukadendar until it separated his head from its body to double team Mebius. Mebius fought back, discovering Mukadender's connected weakness like Taro before him, until they joined together again. Mebius destroyed Mukadender's body with his Mebium beam, but the head escaped and tried to attack him from behind, but it was destroyed by Ultraman Hikari by surprise.

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness

This Monster reappeared in the short sequel to Ultraman Mebius.

Some time after Ultraman Mebius left Earth, several monsters began reappearing and causing havoc. Mukadender was one of these monsters, (along with Saramandora, Roberuga, and Kelbeam.) However, the new Team GUYS took care of Saramandora and Mukadender themselves, destroying them both.

Zamushar

edit

Zamushar is an excellent monster swordsman and defeated two Magma-Seijins and Alien Valkie. He comes to earth on a comet, to challenge Tsurgi (Ultraman Hakari). During the magma seijin fight, he chops the comet into many pieces. The GUYS Team set up 2 cannons to destroy the advancing pieces. When Valkie and Zamushar come, one of the guns gets sliced and explodes. After defeating Valkie, he threatens to break the second cannon if Hakari did not fight him. He puts his sword of the top of it, ready to ruin GUYS's plan. Mebius comes and hits Zamushar's sword at the way, they battle for a bit, until Ultraman Hakari finally comes. They both run past each other and stop. Nothing happens. Suddenly, the end of Zamushar's sword falls off. Zamushar exclaims: "How did I lose?" and Hakari replies: "It was not me who beat you, there was a crack in your sword." Zamushar remembers that Mebius hit his sword earlier to prevent him from destroying the cannon. Zamushar then says: "I will return," and disappears into the sunset.

Zamushar returns in episode 49, when an imperizer is about to shoot the Phoenix Nest. He chops the whole thing in half. The Emperorian finally arrives, to bring eternal darkness to earth. Zamushar attempts to attack Emperorian but is knocked back by his powers. Ultraman Hakari wearing the Armour of a Hero, then appears and is hit by the Emperorian. Ryuu-san gets out a ship to attack, Hakari and Zamushar wake up and they all attack at the same time. The ship's missiles are harmless and when Zamushar and Hakari strike at the same time, the emperor stops them with his hand. He then throws both of them backwards. Zamushar's sword is knocked nearby him, but he can't pick it up, as he is wounded. The Ultimately powerful monster attacks Zamushar and breaks a hole in the phoenix nest. Again, he attempts to destroy it and this time, Zamushar sacrifices himself. Zamushar then says: " This is what it means… to protect… Mebius…." The mighty swordsman falls to ground and is transformed into light. Hakari attempts to use his Specium Ray and fails. The Emperor counter-attacks him, destroying the Hero's Armour. Hakari quickly grabs Zamushar's sword, runs and hits the emperor. He is hit in the same place where the Father of Ultra sliced him many years ago.

Alien Magma

edit

In this series, an Alien Magma is seen facing off against the Alien Swordsman Zamusha, on a meteor heading towards Earth. Even after a second Alien Magma comes to aid the first in battle, the two aliens were ultimately killed by Zamusha.

The Second Alien Magma has a slightly different color scheme from the original Alien Magma. His hair is white, his eyes were red, and he possesses a hook appendage replacing his hand.

Alien Valkie

edit

An Alien Valkie was the next alien to confront the alien Swordsman known as Zamusha, after the latter killed two Alien Magmas on a meteor that was heading for Earth. Wanting to make his name known throughout the universe, Alien Valkie fought with Zamusha on Earth, but after a short battle he too was killed by Zamusha.

Saramandora

edit

In this series, Saramandora's history is never explained as he ambushes both Mirai and Serizawa (Ultraman Mebius and Hikari's human forms.) Both quickly assumed their Ultra forms, with Mebius managing to toss Saramandora aside and used his Mebium Beam to finish him quickly. However, Saramandora's armored-plated skin allowed him to shrug it off and then he beat Mebius to the ground, so Hikari fought the monster. Hikari had little to no trouble beating and tossing Saramandora around and then finished it off with a quick slash from his Hikari Blade, which seemingly destroyed Saramandora.

At first it seemed Saramandora was destroyed, but in fact introduced a new superpower, Regeneration. Not every single cell was destroyed when Hikari "destroyed" him with his blade and so Saramandora later returned that day to resume his rampage. Team GUYS tried to take care of the monster themselves but were no match for Saramandora. Ultraman Hikari later returned and tried to take Saramandora by himself, but was beaten down by the monster. Once GUYS found a weak spot underneath Saramandora's chin they struck it, stunning Saramandora temporarily. With that opening, Ultraman Mebius returned to aid Hikari and together they both destroyed Saramandora completely by blasting him with the Mebium Shot and the Knight Shot together.

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness

In this sequel to the above series, Saramandora is revived (along with Roberuga, Mukadender, and Kelbeam) by Armored Darkness to attack Earth. Ultimately, Saramandora and Mukadender were both killed by Team GUYS.

Bemstar

edit

This monster reappeared in the series Ultraman Mebius.

Much like his predecessors, Bemstar was first discovered attacking a space station. However, Ultraman Mebius started to get worried about Bemstar's arrival as he had heard several stories about Bemstar's might upon the Ultras before him. He started to doubt that he could beat it, but he knew he would have to face his fears eventually as Bemstar was getting closer to Earth. Upon landing, Bemstar proved his might, shrugging off most of GUYS weapons and snatching Marina (of GUYS) inside her aircraft. Ultraman Mebius appeared, and saved her just in time. Both Mebius and Bemstar seemed evenly matched, until Bemstar tried to eat Mebius with his gorge. Mebius got loose, and GUYS tried to freeze Bemstar's stomach, but Bemstar managed to blow it off, and recover. Mebius then decided to transform into his new Brave Mode. He then created his new Mebium Sword, and sliced Bemstar in half, destroying him completely.

Sometime later, GUYS was chosen to test out new arrivals of Capsule Monsters. One suggestion was Bemstar, it had the strongest chance of becoming useful to the team but was ultimately turned down due to Marina's refusal to work with the monster that nearly ate her.

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Hikari Saga

After leaving the Earth, Ultraman Hikari was attacked by a stray Bemstar. Hikari chased the monster around the asteroid belt, eventually taking their battle to small, deserted planet. Bemstar was easily winning, beating down and injuring Hikari as he could only watch as Bemstar moved in for the kill. Just then Zoffy arrived and after some motivational words were given to Hikari, The two joined forces and eventually managed to destroy Bemstar.

Another Bemstar was seen flying overhead towards Earth. This would be the one that fights Ultraman Mebius (Zoffy told Hikari to "let Mebius handle that one.")

Daigarugu

Earthtron

edit

In this series, Earthtron's origin is again not stated and his attack comes out of the blue like before, attacking GUYS HQ at a test site. However this time his actions are being guided by a Kelbeam, who is using frequency waves (originally intent to control Manquette Monsters) and directing them at Earthtron to control him (In a rather comical way.) Ultraman Mebius arrives to do battle against the two monsters who double-team him, but Team GUYS learns of Kelbeam's control over Earthtron and destroys the waves that are doing so, severing Kelbeam's control. Now free, Earthtron attacks Kelbeam, but is quickly destroyed by Ultraman Mebius, who uses his Medium Blade to cut Earthtron in half.

Yapool

edit

On a normally quite day, the sky began to rain blood-red rain. It covered everything in sight. That night, GUYS members Mirai and Ryu were sent out to investigate. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the sky seemed to crack open like glass, a large figure loomed over them! It unleashed two beams of energy at them from its nose, but both managed to dodge. Ryu tried to shoot his weapon, but the creatures eye glowed bright blue, and an energy wave came from it, and imprisoned Ryu in an orb of some kind. Mirai tried to turn into his Ultra form, but the creature let loose with another nose blast. He dodged the blast, but the resulting explosion knocked him down and injured his left arm. The creature then seemed to absorb Ryu into his eye, and then disappeared, as the night sky seemed to come back together again. Mirai blacked out, and woke up in the GUYS HQ, with Ryu standing there as if nothing had happened. However, Ryu was being controlled by Yapool, who was behind the appearance of the monster. Some time later, during the testing of the new Fire Windam, the controlled Ryu used an odd device that set off the GUYS airfcraft to attack Windam. Windam tried to strike back, but he returned to his capsule. Ryu then shot Mirai in the arm, injuring it further. But his true identity was soon exposed by Captain Shingo Sakomizu. Yapool then summoned the same monster to attack. The beast broke the sky like glass yet again, and jumped out to land, and begin its attack. Konomi identified the monster as Vakishim. While Ryu walked away and Mirai gave chase, the other members tried to attack Vakishim with their weapons, but it was useless. Yapool threatened Mirai with the odd device, but Mirai had to choice but to shoot Ryu, thus causing Yapool to leave, and return to Vakishim's eye. Angered by his friend being used like that, he assumed his Ultraman Mebius form, but his left arm was still hurt, and Vakishim easily beat Mebius to the ground. GUYS, however, stepped in and fired their weapons at close range, in order to give Mebius enough time to switch to Brave Mode. And, with one mighty slash, Vakishim was destroyed by his blade. Unfortunately, Yapool was still alive. Days later, appearing out of the sky and without warning, the next of the Chouju made its appearance from the same mysterious dimension that Vakishim came from: its name was Doragoris. He instantly began attacking the surrounding area with a blast of his red energy bolts. GUYS quickly flew into action, attacking the monster with their aircraft's weapons. Doragoris eventually gave up, and returned to his odd dimension before GUYS could land any more blows. Later, while George stayed in a hotel room with his "girlfriend," he heard her scream, and rushed over to see a large dragonfly on her, which was actually Doragoris! George tried to swat it away, but it turned into a purple gas, and entered her body. When she awoke, she hit George with a blast of energy from her eyes, which knocked him out. Later, he met her again, and discovered she was under the control of Yapool. After a failed attempt to destroy a new weapon of GUYS, Doragoris and Yapool left her body, and manifested itself into its normal form outside, with Yapool intact. In no time flat, GUYS was all over the monster, attacking it with their handguns. Doragoris shot an eye bolt at Mirai, who was caught in the explosion, but was still able to turn into Ultraman Mebius. The two titans fought hard, with Mebius seeming to have the upper hand, until Doragoris managed to knock down Mebius, and jump on top of him, grabbing his face with his hand. GUYS knew they had to act fast, since Doragoris was known for tearing the flesh off others with ease. George blasted Doragoris in the face, which gave him the chance he needed to use his new beam weapon: the Mebium Infinity Beam, which blew Doragoris clean off his feet. The Chouju then tried to escape using his dimension breaking powers. While Mebius switched to Brave Mode, George tried out the new weapon: The Meteor Overdrive, which evaporated the shattered dimension, closing Doragoris' window of opportunity. Mebius then used another new beam weapon: the Infinity Cross-Beam, which destroyed Doragoris completely. But Yapool had one more trick up his sleeve. Then one day, Verokron appeared suddenly in his hole while Captain Shingo was out and about. He tried to prevent its appearance by shooting the hole with a new gun that could close the holes made by Chouju. It worked, but not before Verokron fired a missile at him. He was caught in the explosion, and fell unconscious while Verokron disappeared. It was later revealed that Verokron would reappear in an open area near GUYS HQ, while they were still developing a new weapon, as well as converting their HQ into a flying airbase. GUYS attacked Verokron with their aircraft, but their missiles and gun blasts were all nullified by Verokron's endless barrage of missiles. Suddenly, the sky began to crack like glass, with a purple glow to it: The Yapool were trying to break through! GUYS flew in to get rid of it, but Verokron fired missiles at them. Luckily, Ultraman Mebius appeared, and stopped the attack. The Chouju put up a good fight, but was easily beaten in the end, as GUYS used its new weapon to close the nearly open dimension hole for good, preventing any more Chouju from appearing, as well as the Yapool. Mebius then used his Mebium Beam, and destroyed Verokron; ending the attack of the final Chouju for good. [edit] Giant Yapool

The gas monster Gadiba was first released by a mysterious man dressed in black, who was really Yapool. Yapool had Gadiba dig itself into an open field of rocks, and bring Red King back to life! Gadiba then entered its body and gave it new abilities. After Red King was revived by Gadiba, he began kicking and thrashing the rocky area all around him. GUYS quickly detected it, and set out. As they arrived, Red King began tossing rocks at them, as it had no other means of attacking airborne foes. Their weapons proved useful, and Red King was soon out of rocks. But it quickly smashed a mountain and created more, which it continued to toss at the GUYS aircraft. As Red King raised a large boulder, GUYS managed to shoot his hand, causing him to drop it out on his foot. Red King screamed in pain, and kicked the offending boulder in frustration, but this only hurt his foot more. GUYS closed in, but Red King was not beaten yet; using its thick tail and powerful legs, Red King launched himself into the air, straight at the GUYS main aircraft. Luckily for GUYS, Mirai was on board that aircraft, and turned into Ultraman Mebius. He swiftly kicked Red King, still in mid-air, and the lumbering behemoth fell to the ground below. Red King got right back up, however, and the two titans battled. Although stronger than the original Red King, Mebius had little trouble dealing with this revived Red King, as he easily kncoked it into a mountainside, where its head became stuck. Red King eventually managed to free itself, but was too dizzy to continue fighting, and Mebius finished it off with his Mebium Beam. But the body was not destroyed, and suddenly, the gas monster Gadiba left Red King's body, and created a series of rings around it. Upon re-entering, Red King morphed into Gomora! Gomora got to its feet and stood tall, roaring loudly. Mebius, weak from his fight with Red King, now had to face a refreshed Gomora. He was easily knocked around and slammed to the ground; GUYS stepped in, and used nearly every weapon in their arsenal! Gomora's tail was blown off, but this only proved to be a problem, as it began attacking Mebius on its own! The GUYS aircraft fired a barrage of energy beams at the tail, destroying it, but Gomora still had plenty of fight left in him. Mebius' color timer began blinking, but he didn't give up; he stood up, and transformed into his Burning Brave Mode! With one punch to the gut, and a single kick to the face, Gomora was already beaten, but Mebius grabbed and tossed him high into the air. Then, he used his Mebium Bust in combination with one of the GUYS energy weapons, destroying the ancient beast completely. Gadiba, however, was not destroyed.

After GUYS and Mebius left, it later returned to its master, Yapool, who then returned to his own demented dimension, laughing manically. Upon returning to his dimension, he met up with four other beings; Deathrem, Glozam, and Alien Mephilas. These four beings were survivors of the Great Ultra War, who had come together to contemplate the destruction of the Ultra Brothers. Yapool announced he was to be the first, and only, one to confront Ultraman Mebius, as he would destroy him easily, but Deathrem wanted to kill Mebius himself. Yapool teleported away, and just as Deathrem was about to give chase, Mephilas stopped him, saying they should wait and see what Yapool will do first. Mirai had gone on a walk in the park with a girl he'd met, but Yapool was spying on them, disguised as a human once more. He held a clutch of ballons with him; these looked innocent, but had devious powers. Yapool finally confronted Mirai, as he was dealing with an annoying, smug reporter, revealing his true identity as Yapool. But rather than fight him, he released a red ballon with gold stripes into the sky. The ballon opened up a dimensional hole, and from it, Ace Killer emerged! Yapool teleported to a safe distance to observe, as Ace Killer made his way toward Mirai, crushing anything in his path. The reporter made a hasty getaway, but Mirai stayed with the girl, telling her to run, and that he'd take care of Ace Killer. Mirai ran off to transform into Ultraman Mebius, but unknown to him, she followed him, and witnessed his transformation. Mebius confronted Ace Killer, who proved to be a much better fighter. Things only got worse as Yapool called Gadiba into action. The little gas monster leaped into Ace Killer's body, and gave him new abilities; he was now Mebius Killer! Yapool ordered Mebius killer to first use the Mebium Beam; placing his left palm over the green pendant on his right forearm, Mebius Killer charged his hands with energy, and performed the Mebium Beam. It struck Mebius' body, but he sidestepped most of it. Yapool, laughing, ordered him to fire it again, but this time, Mebius fired his own Mebium Beam, and the two were evenly matched. Yapool then ordered Mebius Killer to use the Mebium Blade, which formed out of his green pendant. Mebius pulled out his blade as well, but Mebius Killer was stronger still, and outmatched him. Finally, Yapool ordered him to use the Mebium Bust. The ball of fire struck Mebius with great force, and Mebius fell to the ground as Yapool laughed. Mebius tried to get up, but he was too weak. That's when the girl ran up and spoke to Mebius; she believed in him and his strength. Mebius wouldn't give up now, and he got back up to fight once more. This time, however, Mebius was winning. Mebius Killer grappled with Mebius, and was overpowering him. That's when Mebius pulled out his newest power; his body began glowing red, and then he engulfed Mebius Killer and himself in flames. It was Mebius' version of the Ultra Dynamite move Ultraman Taro uses; the Mebium Dynamite. Mebius Killer groaned in agony as Mebius' flames burned his flesh, but Mebius kept a good grip on him, and finally, with one last burst of power, Mebius caused the finishing explosion, destroying Mebius Killer once and for all.

Giant Yapool

Mebius later returned to human form, and the girl ran up to see if he was OK. The smug reporter reappeared, saying he knew Mirai was hiding something, referring to his Ultraman form. Just then the ground opened up and all three fell into the deep, dark abyss; Yapool's trap. When they awoke, they were in a twisted, futuristic world, in which Tokyo was in ruins. As they enetered the city, Yapool appeared before them, and began toying with the reporter, using his psychic powers to shove and choke him. Then, he released him and told him he'd allow him to go free, back to his world, if he shot and killed Mirai of the girl. he presented him with a large laser gun, and the reporter took aim and fired at Mirai. However, Mirai created his energy shield and protected the girl and himself until the reporter ran out of ammo, and Yapool shoved him aside. The reporter was freaked out at what Mirai was doing and how he had such powers, and was too afraid to approach him. Mirai then challenged Yapool to fight, of which he gladly accepted. Yapool assumed his giant form, and Mirai assuemd his Ultraman Mebius form. Yapool told Mebius that as they spoke, at this very moment, GUYS were stranded on the moon, and were about to be slain by the moon Chouju Lunaticks, and he laughed with much evil in his voice. Mebius and Yapool fought, but it was clear who had the advantage, as Yapool used his psychic hold to swing and toss Mebius every which way, as well as slashing him with his blade hand. Mebius was still weak from his encounter with Mebius Killer, and could barely fight back. Yapool continued to taunt and cackle at Mebius for being so weak, and he began firing energy blasts from his blade, which tore into Mebius' flesh.

But like before, the girl walked toward Mebius, and continued to speak of how he was an Ultraman, and how he could overcome this obstacle. Yapool, sick of hearing her voice, blasted the area in front of her, nearly killing her. Mebius tried moving, but was too weak, and he collapsed, with his eyes growing dark. It was then that Seiji Hokuto, Ultraman Ace's human host, spoke to human through his mind. He said that if he has someone that is precious to him, he can and will overcome any foe. Mebius' power and spirit were restored, and much to Yapool's surprise, he stood up once more, and assumed his Burning Brave Mode. This time, the tide of the batle turned, as Mebius went on an all-out attack on Yapool with intensity never before seen in an Ultraman. After Mebius slammed him to the ground, he used his Mebium Bust, and with all his might, tossed it at Yapool. However, Yapool was not destroyed yet, but he was indeed dying. His last words were that of informing Mebius that more foes, even stronger, would come, such as Deathrem, and Glozam. Then, he fell to ground, and his body exploded into dust. Yapool was finally finished. Glozam, back with Mephilas, exclaimed that Yapool was killed. Mephilas, however, did not care, and proceeded to tell Grozam that Deathrem had already left for Earth by himself.

Vakishim

edit

Appearing out of the sky much like his original appearance, Vakishim attacked Ryu and Mirai (Ultraman Mebius's human form,) injuring Mirai's left arm and abducting Ryu. Upon awakening, Mirai found out that Ryu's body was being possessed by Yapool as his puppet to toy with GUYS and its newest objective.

Once Yapool's identity was revealed to GUYS, Yapool unleashed Vakishim again to further stall GUYS from stopping him. Yapool then threatened Mirai that he had a bomb set up that with go off unless he shoots Ryu. Without any other option, Mirai shot Ryu (who managed to survive), releasing him from Yapool's control, who went on to possess Vakishim and increase his choju's power. Mirai, enraged at Ryu's undeserving demise, transformed into Ultraman Mebius to do battle against Vakishim. However, Mebius's arm was still injured from Vakishim attacking him earlier on, thus Vakishim had the advantage. However after the assistance of Team GUYS, Mebius managed to transform into Brave Mode and sliced Vakishim in half, destroying him.

Doragoris

edit

The second Choju to return to Earth, Doragoris appeared out of the sky from the same dimension that Vakishim emerged from and instantly began attacking the surrounding area. GUYS quickly flew into action, attacking the monster until Doragoris fled back to his dimension without warning. In reality, Doragoris was sent by Yapool to sabotage a weapon being tested by GUYS. Taking the form of a large moth, Doragoris attacked a woman whom had befriended GUYS, entering her body and possessing her in order to destroy the weapon. After failing to destroy it, Doragoris left her body and manifested itself into its normal form outside, with Yapool intact. In no time flat, Mirai was able to turn into Ultraman Mebius and the two titans fought hard. Mebius seemed to have the upperhand at first until Doragoris managed to knock down Mebius, grabbing his face with his hand. GUYS knew they had to act fast, and so teamed up with Mebius to attack the Choju. Doragoris then tried to escape using his dimension breaking powers, but Mebius switched to Brave Mode and ultimately destroyed Doragoris with the Infinity Cross-Beam.

Verokron

edit

The third and final Choju to return to Earth, Verokron appeared out of the sky from the same dimension that Vakishim and Doragoris emerged from, first attacking GUYS's Captain Shingo Sakomizu before disappearing. Days later, Verokron reappeared near GUYS HQ while they were developing a new weapon. GUYS attacked Verokron but with no success. Suddenly, GUYS noticed that Yapool was trying to break through and invade Earth too! Ultraman Mebius appeared to face Verokron while GUYS tried to get rid of Yapool's portal. Verokron put up a good fight, but ultimately Mebius destroyed him with his Mebium Beam, as GUYS used its new weapon to close the nearly open dimension for good, preventing any more Choju from appearing.

Zetton

edit

In this series, Zetton is one of many prototype Maquette Monsters whom are to be tested in hopes that they will be of useful to GUYS in the future to help defend Japan. However, the capsule that contains Zetton is dropped by accident and is also plugged into GUYS computer network. The accident results in Zetton going out of control as it trys to destroy GUYS's central computer system. GUYS tries to fight back with a Manquette of Ultraman Mebius himself, but the Manquette is confused into attacking with his Mebius Shot, which is reflected back and defeats the Manquette Ultra In Zetton's signature style. Soon enough, the Real Ultraman Mebius enters GUYS's computer network and tries to take care of Zetton himself, only to not realize how tough of an opponent Zetton was. GUYS soon assisted Mebius by sending their Maquette Monsters; Miclas and Windam to help him. Soon enough their combined efforts was enough to delete the out-of-control Zetton.

Ultraman Mebius (Proto Maquette Ultraman)

edit

The Ultraman Mebius Maquette Version appeared in episode 27. The GUYS Team decide to use a different maquette monster. Everybody tries to get their hands on the Zetton Maquette, but if falls to the ground and is slightly broken. They put him in the simulation to battle Gudon. Zetton doesn't disappear after the battle and starts destroying the area. He then shoots the sky and attacks the binary. The Adjutant starts pulling the Zetton capsule out, along with Teppi-san and they both get electrified. When they do pull it out, Zetton stays in the simulation, so they use the Ultraman Mebius maquette to fight it. George-san says he should aim for the feet, Mebius starts his attack, but Marina-san disagrees and says to aim for the horns. They start arguing and Mebius can't do anything. The Adjutant then says to use the Specium Ray, but as you should know, the original Ultraman did that and lost. Maquette Mebius is then defeated. The real Mebius then appears.

Nova

edit

Nova first appeared before the GUYS crew on a dark night in a parking lot, but it was small and very fazy, and then disappeared before them. Unknown to GUYS, Nova was manipulating the nanotechnology that is used to bring Rimu Eleking to life to make duplicates of himself to distract GUYS while the real copy is in pursuit of GUYS HQ.

The next day, the Maquette Nova appeared in an open construction field. GUYS attacked it, but it only spewed red smoke at them. Ultraman Mebius appeared and began to attack the monster, until it vanished like a Maquette Monster. Realizing about Nova's control over the nanotechnology and now how dangerously close the REAL Nova was to their HQ, Mebius teleported himself to Nova's location and the real battle began. At first, Nova was beating Mebius, but Miclas came to aid Mebius, and weaken Nova. Afterwards, Mebius recovered and used his Mebium Ray to destroy Nova once and for all.

Imperiser

edit

The Imperiser is a robotic monster and is supremely powerful. One appears in episode 29 and 30. Also, 13 more appear in episode 48. In episode 29, Father of Ultra tells Mebius not to transform, because the Imperizer is too strong. The evil robot takes down a GUYS ship, so Mirai decides to transform. When he tries to sneak off from Ryuu-san, he spots trying to escape. Mirai then says: "Please watch, my final battle!" Then transforms in front of him and Ryuu finds out his hidden identity. The battle goes very badly, and the Mebium shoot doesn't have much effect. Ultraman Taro then appears to save Mebius, after a short battle, Taro uses his Storium ray, destroying half of the imperizer. It then disappears.

In episode 30, the same Imperizer is back. Ultraman Taro appears at the same time to fight it. The GUYS team have a plan, it goes well, but when a tractor beam was supposed to pick it up and throw into a herd a bombs, the Imperizer teleports out. It then goes crazy and shoots beams all over the place, and knocks out the 2 GUYS ships, so Taro uses his Storium Ray to stop him. Mirai then appears, he starts his transformation, (The Mebium Brade appears on his arm) but Taro stops him and tells him that maybe he should go back to the Land of Light to train some even more. The Mighty Ultra Brother decides to use The Ultra Dynamite. The Ultimate Robot recombines together, so Ryuu-san tells him to transform. This is when the rest of GUYS crew find out he is Mebius as well. Taro and Mebius both battle together, until Imperizer starts firing power balls at the GUYS crew. Mebius stands in the way and gets hit, and he gets knocked out. The team shout at him saying he has to get back up, even the Captain! Mebius's eyes then light up again and he stands up. He then transforms to Burning Brave mode for the first time. Taro uses his Storium beam to fend off Imperizer's attack while the Young Ultraman prepared a fireball. He releases at the Imperizer and destroys it.

In episode 48, thirteen Imperizers are placed in different places in the world. Mebius fights some of them in Japan.

An Imperizer appears in Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Ghost Reverse, when Mebius finds Glozam on a rocky planet.

Alien Mates "Bio"

edit

Alien Mates

Zoa-Muruchi

edit

Zoa Muruchi was created by the son of the original Alien Mates (from The Return of Ultraman,) but this time as a means of vengeance against the humans for killing his father. While Zoa Muruchi and Ultraman Mebius fought, Alien Mates met the principal of the boy his father adopted. After learning of a tragic story about his efforts to find the original Mates's UFO, Mates realized he had not only made a grave mistake, but he also sealed the fate of an innocent, undeserving monster. Overcome with grief, but wanted to believe in human kindness again. He then called out to Mebius to end it. Mebius used the Mebium beam, and destroyed Zoa Muruchi, after it let out one last anguish-filled cry, ending the suffering Alien Mates had gone through.

Femigon Flame

edit

Appearing one night and possessing a young woman named Misa, Femigon used Misa as her host to distract GUYS (particularly, Teppei) as she rampaged throughout an oil refinery as the monster. Fleeing at the sight of GUYS attacking her, Femigon received an injury on her arm that was also shown on her host's arm as well, exposing her identity. Now exposed, Femigon resumed attacking the Refinery until Ultraman Mebius arrived to fight Femigon. While Mebius had the advantage, he was forced to retreat after being distracted by Teppei's interference on "Misa's" behalf.

The following day, Teppei and Mirai eventually found a cure that could extract Misa from Femigon. That night as Femigon reappeared to attack the Refinery, Mebius returned but instead held off Femigon long enough for Teppei to use the weapon to separate Misa. Firing it at Femigon and weakening the monster, Mebius used the Mebium Beam to destroy Femigon and separate Misa at the same time.

Jashrine

edit

Jashrine was a monster that appeared in Ultraman Mebius's Episode 38. This monster, was a statue-like monster with 3 heads. Only one head could talk at a time, this was indicated by a light above the head. Jashrine was a monster that changed things to gold and kept them in their collection, just like they did to Mebius. When Mebius became gold, Jashrine noticed that his colour timer wasn't gold. He tried to destroy it when eventually, he got a crack in the colour timer. Before Jashrine could attack again, Father of Ultra comes down in a ball of light and uses a laser to destroy Jashrine's weapon. Father of Ultra then battles for a bit, then throws his cape over Jashrine. The monster then cannot see and Father of Ultra revives Ultraman Mebius. The Supreme Commander uses the Ultra Dumbbell on Jashrine and Mebius finishes him off.

Red King

edit

In this series, Red King is revived by Gadiba (a black, misty entity that serves as the pet of Yapool in the series.) Red King is then possessed by Gadiba to attack in the middle of a valley in which GUYS is sent to investigate. After a lengthy battle against GUYS, Ultraman Mebius appears and faces off against Red King. After a relatively short battle, Mebius is victorious. Gadiba however emerges from Red King's body and transforms Red King into Gomora to do battle against Mebius.

This Red King can jump so high it seems like its flying.

Gomora

edit

In his initial episode appearance, Gomora is seen very briefly before "disappearing" shortly afterwards. After Ultraman Mebius defeated Red King in a short battle, Gadiba, a black entity created by Yapool emerged from Red King's body and transformed it into the Gomora that appeared before, the much stronger Gomora attacked and beat down the slightly weakened Ultraman Mebius but he was eventually destroyed by the combined forces of both Team GUYS and Ultraman Mebius.

Ironically, the same costume for Gomora in his appearance is the same exact one used in Ultraman Max, whether this is another Gomora of the same kind that appeared in Max or one of a different species is unknown.

Gadiba

edit

Gadiba is a blackish snake-like monster that can transform into different monsters. He appears in episode 42 and episode 43. He transforms into Red King, who is defeated by Mebius. Red King then changes into Gomora, so Mebius battles again. He wins. However, Gadiba is still alive.

Mebius Killer

edit

Mebius Killer is a copy of the monster: Ace Killer. Ace Killer originally appeared in an episode of Ultraman Ace and was made from the evil being, Yapool. Yapool returns in Ultraman Mebius, and re-creates Ace Killer, but instead calls it Mebius Killer. Mebius Killer shows up in episode 43. Ultraman Mebius appears to fight him and the battle goes fairly well. Well, it does until Yapool summons Gadiba, a blackish snake like monster that can transform. Gadiba goes inside Mebius Killer, allowing him to steal Ultraman Mebius's moves, just like Ace Killer did to the Ultra Brothers. Mebius Killer uses the Mebium Shoot, Mebium Blade and Mebium Burst. Mebius is collapses after being hit by the burst and blade. Aya-san (who is on date with Mirai-kun) encourages Mebius to get back up because she finds out that Mirai was Mebius. The young giant then uses the Mebium Dynamite (or Ultra Dynamite) on the Mebius Killer and defeats it.

Deathrem

edit

Deathrem is one of the four heavenly kings and has the ability to shoot balls of power from the sky. He appears in episode 45. Whilst the phoenix nest is arriving from their space trip, an explosion happens before they land. The citizens think that is was destroyed but really it was teleported into an invisible force field. George-san is teleported out to give the message to Mebius. He tells Mirai that Mebius must be utterly defeated on earth, or he will destroy the phoenix nest. Later, when Deathrem is wreaking the town, waiting for Mebius to appear, the phoenix nest manage to broadcast a message, saying that Mebius needs to fight and he shouldn't worry about us. Mebius attacks Deathrem, so he fires some power balls at the base. Ultraman Jack appears and starts stopping the power balls reach the nest. Mebius eventually defeats Deathrem, using his specium ray along with Jack's specium ray.

Deathrem returns in the Mebius Side Story: Ghost Reverse. He battles Ultraman Taro.

Glozam

edit

Glozam is an (almost) immortal ice monster and is one of the four heavenly kings who appears in episode 46. Glozam freezes a dam, so Mirai-kun and Teppi-san go to investigate. Glozam appears in a cloak and he explains that he was one of the four heavenly kings. He tells Mebius to fight him. Teppi-san gets a serious illness from being in the cold and falls to the ground, he grabs Mirai's leg and tells him not go because it's a trap. Konomi-san and Marina-san come and take care of Teppi-san, while Mirai changes to Mebius. He battles with Glozam. The battle doesn't go well, so Teppi-san summons Windam to attack. Windam's fire attacks are no match for Glozam's power. He gets rid of Windam. Mebius then changes to Burning Brave mode and uses the Mebium burst against Glozam. It still has no effect. The Ultraman falls to ground, when Glozam gets out a gleaming ice sword. Ultraman Mebius avoids it a few times until Glozam manages to stab it though him. He then pushes him up against the wall and Mebius freezes. Konomi-san shouts: "Say your alive!" ... There is not reply. A man on a horse arrives at the dam, where Konomi-chan is. The man tells her to not give up. They stay near the dam, with a fire lit. The man and Konomi both put their hands on their hearts and close their eyes. Mirai-kun then says: "Konomi-san. I'm alive." Later, Konomi-san, Marina-san, the Deputy Inspector General and Professor Fujisawa come up with a plan to save Mebius. When they came to do carry out the operation, Glozam appears in the way. The man appears at the sight, he throws of his hat. Then he gets out... The Ultra Eyes. He transforms to Ultraseven and leads Glozam away, so Marina-san can revive Mebius. Mebius and Ultraseven battle, the cold creature. The two heroic giants use their moves at the same time, breaking Glozam into many pieces. Unfortunately, Glozam is immortal, so his pieces start to come together. Konomi-san then uses a modified version of the bringer fan (A large tornado that can pick up monsters) which blows hot scorching wind. This then defeats Glozam.

Alien Mephilas

edit

In this series, Alien Mephilas has formed an alliance with Yapool, Deathrem, and Glozam to create "The Four Heavenly Kings." A Coalition of aliens that serve a higher up entity known simply as "The Emperor."

After Yapool, Deathrem, and Glozam were all defeated, Alien Mephilas comes to Japan in a new ship and this time he uses mind control on the populance to turn them all, as well as Team GUYS against Ultraman Mebius. He further panders to the people of Japan by demonstrating his power to destroy a Gromite he creates only to destroy shortly after out of false heroism and accolade. All the while, the original Ultraman returns to confront Mephilas into stopping him from doing any harm to the humans. However seeing as Mephilas has not harmed any humans, Ultraman cannot fight him. Eventually Ultraman Mebius (as Mirai) manages to show Team GUYS the control that Mephilas has put them under, Mephilas tries to attack them out of self-defense and shortly afterwards appears himself to battle Mebius. Ultraman shows up and both Ultraman and Ultraman Mebius shortly double-team Mephilas. After shrugging off one of Mephilas's lightning attacks, Ultraman persuades Mephilas to surrender in order to save his own life knowing that he cannot beat two Ultras and Team GUYS. Once again, Mephilas wisely surrenders and even acknowledges to Team GUYS of their efforts from defeating the other three Aliens. However before leaving, he promises to Ultraman that he would return to personally challenge him again. However, the promise was shortly broken as Mephilas was then killed himself by the entity of the Emperor himself: Alien Empera.

This Alien Mephilas is in fact the original Alien Mephilas that fought the original Ultraman. He shows signs of experience as he tries to occasionally warn the other aliens not to underestimate the humans or the Ultras as well as respect to those who have bested him in the past (namely Ultraman.)

Lunatyx

edit

During Ultraman Mebius' battle with the new Ace Killer, dubbed "Mebius Killer" by Yapool, GUYS was about to fly in to aid him when a large object burst from the ocean below and headed toward space. GYS, thinking it wa snaother Arigera, chased it, and were eventually lead to the moon. The flying oject was nowhere in sight, but suddenly, their airship malfunctioned, and went crashing into the moon's surface! They discussed what to do next, as their ship was now stranded, but Marina began hearing a voice in her head. it was that of none other than Hokuto Seiji, Ultraman Ace's human host! it told her to find and destroy the flying object, which was a giant crystal that had stuck itself in the moon's surface. GUYS managed to get their smaller aircraft flying, and set out for the crystal. But just as it was in their sights, it sparked with eletrcicity, and revived the moon Chouju Lunaticks! The Chouju began jumping around and firing it's mist and fireballs at the GUYS crew, who attacked with their own laser cannons. Hokuto watched the battle from Earth, seemingly unwilling to aid them. However, he did tell Marina the weak spot of the crystal, which was the reason why the GUYS aircraft malfunctioned. Unless they could destroy it, they were stuck there. Lunaticks continued to attack GUYS until Hokuto finally decided to assist them, by transforming into Ultraman Ace! Ace appeared on the moon alongside GUYS, and leapt into battle. Lunaticks was not much of a fighter, but its fireballs and eye bombs surely were. GUYS managed to fire a strong enough blast to destroy the crystal, just as Ace used his Metallium Ray to destroy Lunaticks completely.

Alien Empera

edit

Long ago before the events of Ultraman Mebius, Alien Empera led an army of monsters to take over Nebula M78, the home of the Ultras, and temporarily succeeded in doing so. However, the Ultras soon fought back, and destroyed many of his legions, like Yapool, and managed to overthrow the monsters. Infuriated, Alien Empera dueled with Ultra Father. Although the battle ended in a tie, both combatants received a scar on their hip that have reminded them both of their intensive battle from the past... Ultraman Mebius- Episodes 1-47

The second war began when Bogal began reviving many monsters in the ultra graveyard, like Twin Tail. Following Bogal's destruction at the hands of Ultraman Hikari and Ultraman Mebius, other Bogals, known as "Lesser Bogals," opened an Ultra Zone. With the Ultra Zone opened, Alien Empera slowly began a reviving process and hid his existence by creating a gigantic, artificially intelligent robot, Imperializer. However while Imperializer's strength was more than Mebius could handle, the Imperializer was felled by both Mebius and Ultraman Taro.

Alien Empera then recruited one of his top warriors, Yapool (from Ultraman Ace), to join two more generals, Glozam and Deathrem, along with a survivor from the original Ultraman series, Alien Mephilas. For this coalition of Aliens would soon be known as "The Four Heavenly Kings" as the aliens were intent on destroying Mebius to serve their Emperor's demands. Eventually, even the might of Yapool was no match for Ultraman Mebius, and Deathrem and Glozam soon fell with him. Mephilas, realizing that he could not rule Earth, retreated to space, but was killed by Alien Empera himself for not completing the task, setting the stage for the final battle.

Alien Empera began his world domination plan by encasing the sun in rock. He also summoned a group of Imperializers to attack different regions of the Earth. At first, Ultraman Mebius was losing the battle against the Imperializers, but after the people of Earth began cheering him on, Ultraman Mebius destroyed the Imperalizers with the same attack he used to destroy Mebius Killer = the Mebium Dynamite. However, excessive usage of the attack on the Imperializers became too much for Mirai's body to handle and thus Mirai was put in critical condition.

Later, two more Imperializers appeared to wreak havoc, this time attacking GUYS HQ. GUYS managed to destroy one of the Imperializers, but was unable to destroy the second. Just as the second Imperializer was about to destroy the GUYS base, a blade slit it clean in half, destroying it completely. It was the blade of Zamusha, an alien swordsman who had unfinished business to settle with Ultraman Mebius (and Ultraman Hikari,) who had sided with GUYS so that Mebius would be his kill. Shortly after Alien Fanton and Alien Psychoknio, alien friends of GUYS appeared as well to assist them in the battle.

With his army destroyed, Alien Empera decided to take over the Earth personally. The Alien destroyed much of Tokyo and finally encasing the Earth in darkness from the coating of stone on the sun. Zamusha tried to take out the Emperor in short order, by trying to impale Alien Empera with his blade, but the Emperor's superior strength and power was far more than Zamusha and the others could handle and then Alien Empera proceeded to assault Zamshua with his shock waves.

Just then, Ultraman Hikari arrived to assist in destroying Alien Empera, but was blasted to the ground next to Zamusha. The 2 rivals decided to work together to destroy the Emperor, and GUYS began striking back at Alien Empera as well, but none of their attack did not harm him. Following his assault on Zamshaa and Hikari, Alien Empera turned his attention to the GUYS base, and decided to destroy it in order to kill Ultraman Mebius once and for all. Then as he fired a shock wave, Zamusha sacrificed himself and took the hit. Dying, Zamusha realized the truth of protection.

Enraged, Ultraman Hikari grabbed Zamusha's blade and actually managed to cut another scar into Alien Empera's other side. Ryu of GUYS then charged towards Alien Empera in a kamikaze dive, but his ship was seemingly destroyed by a single hit of Empera's shock wave (In reality, Ultraman Hikari had saved him and taken him as his new human host.) Ultraman Hikari then unleashed his Hikari blade, but was unable to even hit Empera, as the alien blasted him back with shock waves. At that critical moment, Mirai transformed into Ultraman Mebius. Hikari and Mebius combined their Hikari Shot and Mebium Shoot, but the Emperor simply neutralized the new beam with his cloak.

Alien Empera decided to become offensive, and struck Hikari with another shock wave, knocking him to the ground. Alien Emepra then struck Mebius with his signature move, the Dark Beam. Then after one shot, successfully destroyed Mebius. All seemed lost, but little did the Emperor know that killing Mebius was the beginning of his end.

Meanwhile in space, the Ultra brothers (Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Jack, Ace, Taro, Leo, Astra, and 80) were all at work, destroying the rock that was coating the sun with their signature beams. They also telepathically communicated with the GUYS team members, encouraging them not to give up hope.

Meanwhile, Mirai was revived as a spiritual entity that merged with all the other members of Team GUYS as well as Ultraman Hikari, to which gave birth to a new form of Ultraman Mebius, the Phoenix Brave Mode. Alien Empera's powers were now futile as they were all deflected back at him by Mebius' new form. At that moment, GUYS' final METEOR, an energy-amplifier named "Specium Redoublizer" descended from the skies.

Mebius fired a Mebium-Knight shot through the amplifier, severely weakening and wounding Alien Empera, who was withering in agony as scale after scale was being ripped apart from his body. Meanwhile the captain of GUYS, Shingo Sakomizu suddenly merged with another Ultra that came onto the scene, Zoffy. Zoffy joined the battle, firing his M87 beam through the amplifier, and linking it with Mebius's beam. With Alien Empera still not destroyed, Mebius performed a final technique, the Mebium-Knight Dynamite. The technique was so powerful it destroyed the amplifier and fatally wounded Alien Empera.

As he was dying, Alien Empera finally recognized that it was the bond between the humans and the ultramen that enabled Mebius to defeat him, realized the futility of his actions, and slowly transformed into light before dissipating. Aftermath

Remnants of Alien Empera's essence lived on in Zamusha's body (whom thanks to his fight against the Emperor has now become the cybernetic, Mecha-Zamu.)[2]

In Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Ghost Rebirth, the Four Heavenly Kings have reunited in an attempt to revive the Emperor by uniting Mecha-Zamu and the Giga Battle Nizer. However, their efforts are eventually proven futile and are thusly destroyed. The Giga Battle Nizer is lost in space and Mecha-Zamu sacrifices himself to keep Alien Empera from ever returning again.

Armored Darkness

edit

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness

Some time after Ultraman Mebius had left the Earth, GUYS has now gone on to a new group of fighters as its previous members (with the exception of Ryu) have now gone on to find new career paths. Monsters have suddenly been reviving from the dead to wreak havoc (the monsters that were revived were Saramandora, Roberuga, Mukadender, and Kelbeam.) GUYS noted that the revival of these monsters were very similar to that of how the Emperor revived his monsters in the past. Before anything else could have been solved, a dimensional portal opened up and sucked in Ryu of Team GUYS, transporting him to the home planet of Alien Empera; a barren wasteland of darkness similar to what the Emperor had transformed Earth into during his assault.

Just then Ryu was attacked by Armored Darkness himself. Just like his creator, Armored Darkness was mostly impervious to all of Ryu's attacks and thus Ryu stood no chance in defeating it. Just then, Ultraman Mebius returned to face off against Armored Darkness. Again, Armored Darkness's strength was more than Mebius could handle as it easily tossed him around, but then just as Armored Darkness was coming in to kill, it froze in place! It was as if something inside of it was keeping it from killing Mebius. Upon the distraction, Ultraman Mebius got a hold of the Armor's sword and struck it in the head, weakening the armor into freezing in place temporarily.

It was then revealed that during the time between now and Alien Empera's defeat that Ultraman Hikari was sent to destroy Armored Darkness before it could come to Earth, but the Armor's strength had overpowered him and thus possessed him. Therefore, Ultraman Hikari was Armored Darkness, being possessed underneath it!

Shortly after Ryu was revived, Team GUYS arrived on the planet to assist Mirai and Ryu in the battle, all motivated by Ultraman King himself to not give up hope. Armored Darkness suddenly awoken and resumed its battle against Ultraman Mebius, but still had the open wound on its forehead. Noting this weak spot, Ryu ejected from his jet and fell into the wound. Within Armored Darkness, he was reunited with Ultraman Hikari and with it, Hikari burst free from his control over Armored Darkness, blowing the Armor into pieces.

But the battle was not over yet as Armored Darkness's body rejoined back together from the planet siding to his advantage and continued to do battle with the two Ultras. Then, Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Hikari once again joined together to form Ultraman Mebius's Phoenix Brave Mode and from that point on, the battle was in favor of Ultraman Mebius. Finally, after slicing it down the middle if its body with its own sword, Ultraman Mebius destroyed Armored Darkness with the Mebium-Knight shot, ending the Emperor's last effort to conquer the Earth. Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey

This monster reappeared in Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey.[4]

Controlled by Alien Reiblood, Armored Darkness was sent to kill Ultraseven (who was on reconnaissance duty, looking for Ultraman due the events of the previous series.) This event is occasionally seen as foreshadowing events by Rei, who is going through mental bursts of rage from his Reiblood energy building up.

Although the battles was only briefly seen, Armored Darkness was victorious as he possesses Ultraseven (as well as Alien Temperor and Armored Mephilas) and uses his body to fight against Rei and his monsters, Gomora and Litra (to which the battle clearly favors Armored Darkness.) During the course of the series, Rei had acquired Ultraseven's Eye Slugger and with it in hand, uses it on Armored Darkness, awakening Ultraseven's will power and weakening Armored Darkness to the point to where Gomora can destroy it. Upon Armored Darkness's destruction, Ultraseven was released and thus presented Rei with his Miclas.

During the series finale, Armored Darkness is revived and possessed himself by Alien Reiblood to kill Rei, and once again beats down his Gomora even in Reionic Burst mode. However, after the assistance of both the ZAP SPACY as well as Grande and his Red King, Armored Darkness is destroyed yet again, this time by EX Gomora and EX Red King.
