Nordjobb is a Nordic exchange programme that offers young people (between 18 and 28 years) a summer job, accommodation and a culture- and leisure program in a Nordic country. Nordjobb has offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the self-governing area of Åland. The programme on the Faroe Islands and Greenland are currently administered from the headquarters in Malmoe, Sweden. The programme was first initiated in 1985, and has since provided summerjobs for about 18.000 applicants.[1] Nordjobb is a nonprofit project; the main financiers are the Nordic Council of Ministers and Foreningen Norden.

Requirments

Before 2010, Nordjobb only accepted applications from the 5 Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland). In 2010 a side project called Nordjobb Europa was launched, and since applications from within the European Union are also welcomed. All applicants must be between 18 and 28 years of age, and have knowledge in a Nordic Language.[2]
