Article Evaluation: The Pullman Strike

edit

Overall this Article is well written. The facts seem simple and straight forward.  The majority of the talk page is a 2014 debate between editors on the correct capitalization of the article title.  One aspect that could be improved is the articles general timeline of when different events of the strike occurred around the country.  One way to remedy this might be to integrate the time line in the external links into the article to improve the clarity of when and where incidents occurred.  If this is not possible for copyright reasons, I would suggest making the external link to the time line earlier into the article.

The article is well cited throughout.  Most of the references listed are from books or online encyclopedia  that require a username and password so it was not possible to fully evaluate them.  One suggestion for improvement would be to find more sources that showcase positive views of the strike as these view points seem under represented in the article.

This article is part of 6 different projects and rated as B-Class on three of them.  It is ranked as top importance in Chicago Wikipedia project which makes sense as the majority of the strike took place in Chicago.  With some work the Pullman Strike article would have no issue becoming an A rated article.
