Ursula Molter (born May 23 1957 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine- mathematician in the field of Geometric Measure Theory, Wavelets, Frames and their applications.
Molter obtained her Masters of Science (1980) and Ph.D. (1983) at the University of Buenos Aires. She is currently full professor at the Department of Mathematics, Fac. de Cs. Exactas y Naturales, Universidad de Buenos Aires. She was visiting professor at the University of Waterloo, the Georgia Institute of Technology and Vanderbilt University.
In 2003, she received a Guggenheim fellowship.
