Music is my everlasting passion and interest. Particular interest/affection goes to: Joh:Seb:Bach and Early Music in general, Medieval music and Classical Indian music in which I dabble a bit as an occasional performer. I have been active as a professional tanpura-player for touring Indian musicians and have written about this basic requirement for Indian music which is today more than ever being 'spoiled' by the use of insipid little synthesizers called 'the electronic tanpura'.
