University of St Andrews

Originally a magazine journalist, I have more recently worked in editorial management and academic publishing.

In 2020, I graduated from the University of St Andrews with a PhD in Modern History. My research focuses on the history of medicine, psychiatry and postnatal mental illness, but my wider interests include the history of Scotland and women's history in general.

In Wikipedia terms, I'm interested in editing and creating articles which relate to these research interests, and I am also keen to add more women's profiles and articles related to women's activism.

Angus countryside

I'm also interested in the rich history of Dundee and Angus, their towns, villages and people, and related events.
