Love is not meant to hurt
editEvery morning before buying a newspaper, I brace myself for the worst;another despicable act of violence against a woman. The culprit is usualy her boyfriend, ex boyfriend or even worse, her husband. In fact it has become such a common occurrence that even when people hear of the violence or speak about it, there is no longer an element of suprise, shock or dismay. Men are supposed to view woman as lovers, homemarkers and nurtures insteed of women viewing and treated like object of little or no value.It is important for woman to realise that their worth in order to end abusive relationships before they become fatal.Woman and girls need to realise that someone who loves and cares about you is not supposed to hurt you. The more the victim condones the violence, the harder it is for them to leave the relationship.
I am not pointing any finger at anyone, as i do not know how abusive relationship like, wat i know for the fact is that a life is much more presious than any kind of relationship. Stayng in an abusive relationship is like you are puting your life in the hand of someone and allowing them to have a hold over it until it ends.This saying is so relevant for woman who are in abusive relationships.Chances are that if he has done it once, he will do it again, so dont wait him to actualy repeate it until you get out.
