My village is located in southwestern district of Uttar Pradesh named etawah. my village comes under chakarnagar tehsil of it .
GEOGRAPHICAL SIGNIFICANCE:-
My village is situated in Bank of river chambal where chambal meets as tributary to yamuna . chambal makes large "BEHADS" in the region. this region is isolated because the rivers are all sides .
• HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:-
The region is famous for Rebels. In their local language (BAAGHI,DACOIT). During the revolt of 1857 the rebels are active their till 2005. The entire region are influenced by Rebels at a time. Even the rebels influence's the Elections. They chose whose candidate are going to won the election. Their are many gangs of Rebels or Baaghi in the region . After 1960 the gangs are madeup in the name of jatis.

1.phulan Devi's Gang 2. Nirbhay Gang 3. Jagjivan parihar Gang 4.paan singh tomar Gand 5. Malkan singh Gang
The Most famous Rebel of chambal are phoolan devi a Dalit woman. She was raped by 2 mens of upper caste and naked them in front of their villagers and also killed her boyfriend in front of them. Later he killed 20 upper caste people of behmai village
• DEMOGRAPHIC'S
The most of the villagers are belongs to SC community their Caste ( jatis ) are mallah,Ahir,gadariya etc. the village have total 4000 votes and SC caste make monopoly in Gram panchayat and Block member elections.They have also Reservation in election seats according to constitution.
•ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
The main economic activity of peoples are farming their main crops are Bajra,wheat and pluses. Mainly millets becouse the soil are alluvial in nature. The other economic activities are nomadic herding,floriculture,truck farming and fish rearing etc.
• THE CROWN OF REGION [ THE CHAMBAL SANCTUARY ]
The chambal sanctuary are beautiest part of the area. The sanctuary contains many endangered species like MAGAR a species of crocodile, endangered species of turtle,fish,eagle and many more species.
