Hi. I am a native of the Coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya. I have studied Biomedical Science and Technology at University but I have found that I am more passionate about historical and current sociopolitical issues. As an ardent lover of general knowledge, I keenly follow many global issues, but lately I have been focusing on African affairs on account of my job (writing African news). Thanks to a lifetime of reading, and more than 2 years of writing, I believe I am adept at writing, though like all skills, it will always be work in progress. When I am not writing, I love taking grueling hikes on locations such as Mt. Longonot, Ngong Hills, and the Kerio Valley. What brings me to this site is a desire to ensure that as much as possible, what is posted on Wikipedia about Africa, especially Kenya, is factual. My focus will thus be editing facts, in addition to any grammatical mistakes I shall spot along the way.
