Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Canada)

-The article that discusses the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada has two warning banners at the top of the article

-The author(s) inserted IRS in a paragraph without stating what that means, this leads to the reader having to figure it out themselves.

-The "Commission" section in the article includes a large number of direct quotes. It should instead be paraphrased.

-Headings throughout the article could be improved.

-In the "background" sub-header in the article, there should be citations at the end of the first and second paragraphs.

-References #5 and #18 provide links that are no longer valid. They are both CBC articles from 2008 and 2009 respectively. Should be updated.

For this article, I plan to highlight the successes of Jason Loutitt over the years. He was a regional recipient of the Tom Longboat Award in 2001 and that should be recognized in the article. There are quite a few winners who have yet to be recognized by the public and this page will be a small but valuable step in increasing the awareness of the involvement of the Indigenous in Canadian sport history.
