The Rodney L. White Center for Financial Research is a research center at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The center was created in 1969 by Oppenheimer & Co. in honor of their late partner Rodney L. White. The Center is one of the oldest research centers in the United States and the oldest financial research center at Wharton. The Rodney L. White Center is based in Steinberg-Dietrich Hall on Locust Walk at the heart of Penn's campus.

The Center focuses mainly on helping faculty and PhD students produce the most compelling research by funding data acquisition and development of other resources necessary for research. Other activities include sponsoring research conferences, working papers, and facilitating interaction between world-renowned scholars and students and faculty in the Wharton finance department as a part of the Rodney L. White Visiting Scholars Program.[1] The Rodney L. White Center has produced significant research papers and insights into the finance industry throughout its existence.[2]
