Good to reasonable French and Spanish; reasonable to slightly amateurish Portuguese and Italian; very unreliable German. Used to coping with stories on most topics; sport and modern popular culture can be a bit of a blank spot. Specific interests: history esp 17-18 centuries; music esp 17-18 centuries; languages and linguistics. Reasonably good on science at a New Scientist level. Still totally mystified by most of the Wiki technicalities. Did I see somewhere a reference to Wiki mentors? If so, would be very glad to have one or several.
