The article title for any topic related to awards ceremonies and prizes should be the most common word or phrase used to describe that topic. In particular, if the title of an award is sufficiently unambiguous compared to any other topics or is considered to be the primary topic, then make that title the title of the article; for example, The Last of Us or Battlefield 1942.
Ceremonies edit
- Award ceremonies should generally be in the plural form (Writers Guild of America Awards not Writers Guild of America Award).
- Articles about specific ceremonies for a given year are normally given the title "Xth Example Awards" (eg. 13th Golden Globe Awards) rather than "Example Awards year" (Golden Globe Awards 1955)
Individual awards edit
When the subject of an article is not an award ceremony but instead of an individual given award (Canadian Screen Awards vs Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series), the title should be put into the singular form.
