Hey there, this is MBorland97. My name is Mark, and I was born on the 19th of April 1997 in Altnegelvin Hospital in Derry/Londonderry. I have lived in the small seaside village of Rathmullan in County Donegal, Ireland for all my life so far.

I do have dual-nationality, but I hold an Irish passport. My family originally came from Scotland and came to Ireland during the Ulster Plantations, but I see myself as a proud citizen of the Republic of Ireland and 100% Irish. My main language is English, I'm also pretty fluent in Irish and Spanish and I also know a tiny amount of French and Arabic (when I say tiny, I mean just a few words).

I am a lifelong supporter of Liverpool F.C. and I also follow Co. Donegal's only professional football club, Finn Harps F.C. and I go to games in the League of Ireland any time I can. I was one of the 50,000 at Ireland's 6-1 defeat to Germany, the worst home defeat Ireland has ever had. I play football, tennis and occasionally Gaelic football and rugby. In tennis, I came 4th in a Donegal junior tennis tournament, for 6 years in a row. I played as a goalkeeper in football. I was formerly a centre-back.
