Global Initiatives

edit

Nord Anglia International School Manila is part of NAE’s Global Campus Online, a service that provides a learning environment where students can create content, work with invited experts, and debate with others. In partnership with Imperial College London and Oxfam, Global Campus Online was designed to complement the existing curriculum and extend each child’s learning. As a service exclusive to Nord Anglia students, it encourages the pupils to lead their own learning in a secure and moderated online environment. Each child can learn with over 61,000 students and selected experts around the world, and have access to a wide variety of courses, information, and challenges tailored to their age group.

Global Campus offers students unique opportunities---such as expedition programs, various summer programs (i.e. performing arts, sports, leadership, languages, local adventures), and other regional and global experiences like sports tournaments, science festivals, and the Global Orchestra.

The students of Nord Anglia International School Manila are given the opportunity every year to work together as a whole school in Global Challenges. Students of all ages throughout the school will work together to decide what task to complete, and then design, build, and test their machine before presenting it through a variety of multi-media channels.
