Máedóc is an editor currently based in the South West of England, and has a general interest in history and geography related subjects, covering a broad spectrum in regards to them both. I am very much an "inclusionist" and believe that 50% (give or take) of deleted articles are deleted due to ideological factors, and said articles pose no threat to the legitimacy and integrity of the project.

In addition, I have an interest in Liberal Catholic Apologetics (LCA), funerary art and Christian religious buildings.

When it comes to apologia for my faith, it is usually employed in theological debates with other Catholics. In regards to how this may effect my editing on Wikipedia, I can only affirm that I shall abide by the guidelines of WP:POV. Needless to say that this is a topic too hot to handle half of the time...feck.

Apparently my name is an ancient Irish equivalent of Aidan.
