Bachelor in Philosophy by the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, CPA by Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Master of Economics at University of Colorado at Boulder and MBA at Arizona State University

Academical and Research

Economics professor at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara for over 50 years. Was head of the School of Economics and Director of the MBA program at this institution. Economic advisor of the Camara Nacional de Comercio de Guadalajara, and founder of the Economic Studies Council of COPARMEX Jalisco. Wrote articles on economics for the following newspapers: El Financiero, Ocho Columnas, Mural.
