About Me
editI'm a 32 year old Nerd/Musician, currently tethered to the boondock hills of Central Pennsylvania. I've been quite a few diverse things in my lifetime, including pizza delivery guy, bar DJ/KJ, insulator, college teacher, roadie, web site designer, media guru, technology guru, and general hellraiser. Currently, I work in wholesale.
I've made some minor edits to Wikipedia, though they're few and far between. Mostly, I try to clean up grammar and structure, or add little details whenever I can. The only article I've done alot of work on that's actually stuck is the one on the Rowland Theater...
I also participate in such sites as Fark.com, Wil Wheaton's blogs, and Slashdot.org as a commenting community member.
In my spare time, I enjoy music, movies, writing and reading.

A Long Story Short
editI was born in Baltimore, MD in late 1977, immediately given up for adoption, and brought to live in Pennsylvania, where I've spent the majority of my life. I've lived in Clearfield County as well as Pittsburgh, and prefer the latter much, much more. After graduating from the Art Institute in 1999, I returned home, where I've eeked out a decent living for myself, with the usual (and not-so-usual) hurdles to jump.
Music
editMy three all-time favorite bands are, from third to first: Tool, KMFDM, and Pink Floyd.
I have recorded one album, "Slip Into Never" with Tempered Edge. The trouble is, the guy who recorded it sucked ass at engineering and producing, so the album sounds flat and crappy. While I don't feel that my vocal performance that day was up to snuff, I'm still immensely proud of that album, since recording one at all was a dream I've had since I was a kid.
From the above, you can guess I'm a singer. I also play a little guitar, and a few simpler instruments. I lack the ability to play and sing at the same time for some reason, resulting in me doing one or the other.
The fact that I edit here will forever bond the "Weird Al" song "White and Nerdy" to the soundtrack of my life. Other notable songs include:
- "Hold Me Now" by Thompson Twins
- "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd
- "Stray Bullet" by KMFDM
- "True Companion" by Donald Fagen (from the soundtrack to Heavy Metal)
- "Piano Man" by Billy Joel
- "Get Over" by Marvelous 3
- "Pet" by A Perfect Circle
- "Jerk Off" by Tool
- And many more I won't bore you with. Sinatra's in there, though...
The core members of Buck-It lack a spine, so for now, I'm a free agent.
