Etymology of Lolax edit

The name Lolax, pronounced Lola, has often been mistaken as pronound Lol-Axe, though the 'x' is silent. Lolax has been said to add the X late in her teens.

Lolax's parents have been a supportive influence throughout the years. Her mother Patty Marks is currently a chemistry teacher, and her father Eddy Marks teaches wood shop at the same school. Lolax's sister Lydia Stevens works at a private computer company and is married to Thomas Stevens.

Education edit

Lolax attended school up through high school, ranking at the top of her class her Junior and Senior year. She went to school at the University of Arizona near to where she grew up, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. She went to a graduate art school to earn a PhD in Performing Arts.

Early Career edit

Soon after college, Lolax took a position as a security guard at a local art museum for 1 year, and moved to a southern county of Ireland. There she got involved as a volunteer at a local community theatre and took a job as a secretary for 2 years.

Career in the Arts edit

Soon after her 30th birthday, a talent scout came to the local theatre where Lolax was performing. She was recruited as a sketch actor for a night club where she met her husband who wishes to remain anonymous. She has also done several minor exhibits at the local art museum and remains involved with the local community theatre.
