Hello. I'm LizWinfreyV, but you can just call me Liz. I was born in Asheville, NC. We moved to Raleigh when I was 9. Now, I'm married and have 3 little boys. My youngest is autistic and as of age 4, he is still mostly non-speaking, but already knows the alphabet and all the letters' sounds. I have a small zoo in my house. Two cats, a dog, two leopard geckos, and zillions of fish, aquatic snails, and freshwater shrimp.

I have a background in IT, as well as photography, jewelry making, aquarium collecting, and a whole lot of other randomness. I'm passionate about critical thinking and scientific skepticism, especially now that I'm a mom.

I'm a web designer/developer as a day job and I work on assisting a gaming mod team after hours. My kids are all in school full time, now. I am beyond lucky that they are all able to go to the same school. I also make jewelry and I'm a freelance photographer.
